Fun for Headline Writers

Quote of the Day

Wolford is gonna be so much fun for headline writers when the SCOTUS ruling is published.

“Supreme Court drives stake through the heart of Vampire Rule”

“Court majority throws holy water on gun control dreams”

“Garlic may keep away vampires, but Hawaii’s Vampire rule cannot keep away legal carry.”

If only the headline writers in legacy media could see the humor as clearly as we do. But they are becoming increasingly irrelevant, so I suppose it does not matter that much anyway.

  1. The only one that would truly matter;
    SCOTUS actually follows the constitution for once!
    In a seismic shift in America jurisprudence the supreme court today actually applied the wording of the 2nd amendment to the constitution of the United State by ruling all gun control laws are null and void.
    Their interpretation of the words “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed”. Which is part of the 2nd. amendment.
    Means gun control laws are an infringement that has no standing in any court of law.
    Such a radical departure from past rulings and the actual following of the law have sparked much concern that this new trend is going to become mainstream.
    Politicians from DC to main street are frightened, warning of blood in the streets and the collapse civil society.
    One such politician speaking on conditions of autonomy voiced his concern;
    “Following actual constitutional law is insanity. And very unprofitable.”

    • And another politician, not even requesting anonymity, made about the same admission:
      “There’s nothing in the Constitution that says the Federal government has got anything to do with most of the stuff that we do.” — James Clyburn (D-SC)
