Quote of the Day
Death is the solution to all problems. No man – no problem.
I cannot help but think of this quote in the context of the shootings and planned shootings of various prominent Republicans such as House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, three Supreme Court Justices, the two attempts at killing Donald Trump, and of course the murder of Charlie Kirk.
Leftist and political violence seem to be strongly correlated*.
You also see this in the expression of political will. The number and magnitude of riots, the level of violence, looting, and arson of the political left dwarfs that of the political right in this country. I have to wonder are they inspired by Stalin and others of his ilk? Or is it a natural result of their political posture?
The political right seems to be far less inclined to use violence means to achieve their political goals. I’m not saying they are entirely ethical, honest, or consistent. But violence does not seem to be one of the primary tools in their toolbox.
* Yes, there is evidence the 2025 shootings of Minnesota legislators were politically motivated. But I don’t see Republicans excusing the murders or claiming the victims brought it on themselves.
Yes, the MN killings were politically motivated but the direction of the motivation remains unclear. There is also substantial evidence that the killer was a serious nut. He told police that Walz wanted him to kill Klobacher. Tampon Tim is crazy but not that crazy. The implication is that the killer is that crazy. Never accept the Left’s narrative.
The MN killings were politically motivated, but those motives weren’t Republican in nature either.
“he killer was a serious nut” indeed. But it appears to me that the Democrat party, progressivism, and leftism in general, offer more toeholds for serious nuts to climb to a point where they can hurt people.
“Yes, the MN killings were politically motivated but the direction of the motivation remains unclear.”
The killer explicitly confessed in writing that the purpose of his political violence was to help advance the political career of DEM Gov Walz. There is NOTHING unclear about that fact.
In other words, his EXPLICIT motivation was service to the Left.
And, to counter all the claims that the purpose of his political violence was to help advance his anti-abortion or pro-Trump politics, etc, the killer also explicitly confessed that neither the issue of abortion nor anything related to Trump were the reason for his political violence. Again there is NOTHING unclear about that fact.
In other words, his EXPLICIT motivation was NOT service to the Right.
And, in relation to both these points, the fact that the murderer was “a crazy man” doesn’t change WHAT motivated him.
So the idea that the “motivation remains unclear” in the Minn case is as absurd a claim as the idea that the “motivation” for murdering Charlie Kirk is that Kirk wasn’t ‘Maga enough’.
BOTH are absurd ‘Leftist Narratives’. And you are correct that one should “never accept the Left’s narrative”.
I’m a turn the other cheek kind of guy. What happens when myself, and a whiole lot of others in political agreement with me stop being so?
It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late,
With long arrears to make good,
When the Saxon began to hate.
They were not easily moved,
They were icy — willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the Saxon began to hate.
Their voices were even and low.
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show
When the Saxon began to hate.
It was not preached to the crowd.
It was not taught by the state.
No man spoke it aloud
When the Saxon began to hate.
It was not suddently bred.
It will not swiftly abate.
Through the chilled years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the Saxon began to hate.
That’s a good one for sure!
My personal favorite is his poems.
“Gods of the copy book headings”.
We must not depict socialism as if socialists will bring it to us on a plate all nicely dressed. That will never happen. Not a single problem of the class struggle has ever been solved in history except by violence. When violence is exercised by the working people, by the mass of exploited against the exploiters — then we are for it!
Vladimir Lenin
Even when the anti-communist “right” does engage in widespread violence against their own countrymen in an organized manner, on a National scale, using the military and secret police to brutally crush the communists the magnitude of deaths is usually in the thousands. That is horrendous! Having said that, when national or international socialists seize power and wield it to crush their internal opponents, history shows the casualties are often in the millions as is document in Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, Communist China, Cambodia’s killing fields, etc Both are evil. One is literally hundreds or thousands of times more evil than the other.
Seems like a very straight-forward quote, but it isn’t.
It only works on “ordinary men.” and neglects the aspect of martyrdom and issues of the spirit entirely.
I’m sure Kirk’s shooter thought that and look at what’s happening now.
I’m sure the Pharisees and Pontius Pilot thought that, too.
However, they misunderstood the situation.
“No man, no problem.” Ask the men who killed Caesar how that worked out.
I guess he would know.
But death isn’t the problem. We all die.
How we have to live is always the reason for us killing each other.
And for Stalin? All that killing got him and the Russian people what? Was Russia a better place by the time he met his end?
Nope cause he wasn’t interested in killing for what it would truly take to make life better for his nation.
He liked the power to kill. As do all tyrants.
That’s where we find ourselves today. Both sides ready to kill. But one for the sake of the power to kill.
The other for the retention of how we have to live.
The murders of Iryna and Charlie like so many others has done what for our nation? Certainly not made it better.
Will the murder of die-hard communist in America make it a better place to live? Eventually. As communism is a crime against humanity in and of itself.
But it would far better for people to just see life for what it truly is, and what a simple human is ever going to get out of it. Rather than murdering each other for some ideal that can never exist.
The tyrants of this world maim, murder, and spread misery because their simple minds can’t handle the boredom of life.
The thing we never get straight is it is always better/easier to get rid of a few moronic tyrants than it is to live under them and end up murdering each other for their entertainment.
Oh well, here we go again. satan is about to laugh till he pisses himself over this one.
Here is a US Senator making excuses.

Wow!
This makes no sense to me. I need more info. What is the incident?
The tweet is from Mike Lee, the US Senator from Utah, the day after the Minnesota legislators shootings. The image is from the security footage of the murderer.
Lee is saying that the murderer was a Marxist I guess? The “Waltz” Street is referencing the Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz.
So far as the quote goes, it has much in similar with the adage: “There is no problem that cannot be solved by careful application of high explosives”.
As you know, in most situations the proper application of explosives does not require any deaths to achieve the desired results.
I have more aphorisms on the theme:
The difference between medicine and poison is the dosage.
Erotic is using a feather; kinky is using the whole chicken.
Moderation in all thing, including moderation.
There’s times to diagnose-and-fix, and there’s times to nuke-and-pave.
In my defense, nobody said how big the drinks were in the “two drink limit”.
THIS! IS! TEXAAAAAAAS!
And then there are loons like this who agree with the sentiment above who are teachers in the classroom: https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/some-people-have-die-nj-elementary-school-teacher-resigns-after-celebrating-charlie-kirk

It’s a natural part of their political posture. Inevitable, really.
But also remember: the Left started with the French Revolution and the guillotine. Blood is in their blood.
