Democrats and Republicans have spent weeks demanding the release of the Epstein files. Well, now they’ve got them. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer confirmed that the long-awaited document dump is officially underway, pledging unprecedented transparency and accountability.
“Just to give a quick update: I think everyone knows who we’ve subpoenaed thus far in the initial batch,” Comer said. “We subpoenaed six former Attorneys General as well as Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton.”
Comer confirmed that the scope has since expanded to include former Labor Secretary Alex Acosta, who oversaw a controversial plea deal for Epstein years ago. “Acosta is coming in, I believe, September the 16th or 19th,” Comer said. “We’ve got that date down. I know that we’ll have a lot of questions for him with respect to an earlier Epstein prosecution that he was involved in when he was U.S. Attorney.”
The chairman also revealed that tens of thousands of pages of records are now in the committee’s possession. “We have the documents — the initial batch that had been sent by the White House. As you know, we also subpoenaed Pam Bondi for those documents. The White House is working with us — I want to publicly thank the White House for turning over so many documents thus far,” he explained.
“We’re in the process of uploading those documents for full transparency, so everyone in America can see them,” Comer said. “As quick as we can get them uploaded — as the Speaker said, there are 34,000 pages — we’re doing everything we can to get those uploaded. We want those to be public as soon as possible.”
I expect there are going to be a lot of people disappointed their most hated politician is not going to be caught with their pants down and a swarm of underage kids in bed with them.
And, furthermore, I expect some of those same people will claim the documents were “cleaned up.” It is just the way these things go. People are never satisfied with the evidence when they have had a lot of time to speculate. Of course, they could be right. And after all this time it will be virtually impossible to conclusively prove them wrong.
Well, we already know the files were cleaned up by Trump himself: He had Bondi lead the charge with hundreds of FBI agents going through the files and “noting” those with Trump in them:

Yup, nothing to see here, just a guy pushing as hard as he can to prevent files about him getting released. Because, y’know, he’s totally innocent, but really really really doesn’t want to prove it.
No politician is innocent. And if they could cover something up, I’m sure they would.
We expect less?
Of all the things that Trump is doing and has done wrong?
You ain’t going to get him on Epstein.

Your real problem is whatever Trump has or might be doing is half of what your side has already done, and never a peep from you.
In the line of asshole that need to be going up to the gallows?
Trump is way back in that line.
Epstein was a big time deal maker for the spy agencies, and elitist. He set things up that nobody wanted anyway to trace back to the politician and criminal elite. Things like where do all the funds for guns and ammo and all these radical groups that pop up all over the world, stirring hate and discontent? Want to fund a false flag operation? Epstein was your man.
Everyone keeps thinking it was for blackmail.
Yes. But that information probably isn’t even in US hands.
You don’t make dirt deals with blackmail. You make them by giving elite asshole what they want. Privately. Setting up dead-end corporations and moving funds around.
Face it, most or all the people on his island already sold their soul to satan. Or else they wouldn’t have been given an invite.
Getting to rape kids is just part of the pay-off.
What’s interesting to me is that both sides have people saying to release ALL the files, and both sides have people resisting the release.
The only explanations I can reason out for all of the hullabaloo are these (and mind you, #1 and #2 are normal adversarial politics at work, while #3 is speculation on my part):
1. Both sides have people who believe there’s incriminating evidence on their opponents that they want released.
2. Both sides also have people who believe there’s incriminating evidence on their allies that they don’t want released.
3. There’s a possibility that the unredacted records contain information on the victims that absolutely should not be released.
Nobody is talking about #3; the silence on it is almost deafening. If true, the people resisting the release could be honestly concerned with the victims’ privacy and welfare (and may or may not be avoiding incrimination; this is politics, after all), while the people pushing for the release are so keen on getting dirt on their opponents that they do not care about the victims.
Bottom line: In my mind, nobody is walking away from this thing clean. Even if they aren’t implicated by the contents of the files, their motivations for supporting or opposing the release will always be questionable.
I wonder how many of the new ‘witnesses’ are going to die of suddenly before any more damage is done to Clinton and the machine she and Bill ran to hide their enormous crimes from the public. Poor Holder is probably a dead man walking…..
