Dem lawmakers call for gun control after Minneapolis school shooting
In these days there is no excuse for not knowing that gun control is not the answer. It just doesn’t work.
I’m reminded of H. L. Mencken’s famous quote:
There is always a well-known solution to every human problem—neat, plausible, and wrong.
Because he has not excuse for saying something that stupid. I have to conclude it is a deliberate lie to further some unstated agenda. Therefore, I would also like to suggest Representative Thanedar read 18 U.S. Code § 242.
Lots of things don’t work. Gun control actually makes things worse by disarming victims.

If history has shown anything, it’s that restricting access doesn’t stop bad actors, it just shifts their methods. The harder conversation is about root causes and accountability, but that rarely fits into a sound bite.
I live in Michigan and we have suffered under Democrat control for years. Because the Democrats get most of the votes from the huge cities in the Detroit area.
I live in a small city on the coast of Lake Michigan, about in the middle of the “mitten”. We tend to vote Republican, but our numbers away from the major population areas so even if we voted as a block it wouldn’t change things.
And don’t get me started on the Empress of Lansing who ran the first time on a slogan of Fix the Damn Roads. This far into her fortunately ending reign of terror and our roads are about the worst in America.
The imposition of “gun control” is the REASON behind most “spree shootings”. The CIA didn’t give up on the MK Ultra program….they perfected it. And they’ve been using it for decades.
