The Trump administration has bent rules and pushed interpretations in new directions. But after digging into the source evidence, I haven’t seen anything that qualifies as “tyranny.” That said, people shouldn’t ignore the political shifts or assume everything is perfectly fine.
Government should never be trusted. Always be on guard and prepared to respond appropriately.
Nobody should claim credit for standing up for liberty and against tyranny when the alternative was that they’d be tied to a tree with their own living entrails.
It’s not tyranny *yet*. But they’re working on it: https://hartmannreport.com/p/the-strongmans-test-run-and-why-the-ab1
I just read a post about holding Jan 6 rioters accountable for their actions. Why can’t people who break the law be held accountable? Why must Mr. Hartman argue against accountability and insist that the only real law enforcement that counts is attacking lead in the pipes in DC? Certainly poverty, lead, single-parent families, etc. are all important to address, but we still need to stop the bleeding before we address the behavior that opened the wound. There is precident for using the National Guard to quell riots, so this is not new. But changing the Metro Police ROE may be in order so the National Guard can go home sooner rather than later.
“Why can’t people who break the law be held accountable? Why must Mr. Hartman argue against accountability ”
Where in that article did he argue against accountability?
It’s only not a tyranny because it’s trump. If any democrat had ever tried this, All of MAGAts would be screaming their bloody heads off. Just look at the off the chart lunacy of the GOP when a democrat gets elected. So and so is coming for your guns. Clutches pearls.
The issue is that you guys can’t see your own hypocrisy.
This dork again.
Congratulations, Joe, someone has picked your blog as their new tedious hobby.
I noticed.
Whatever.
