Politics Follow Culture

Quote of the Day

T-Mobile has announced it is the latest company to scrap its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programs as it seeks regulatory approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for two new business deals that could significantly expand its customer base.

Donald Trump scores major win over T-Mobile

My contacts at T-Mobile say that nearly everyone they knew with significant DEI involvement was laid off last year. To be clear, there was no official statement that DEI was being targeted—and plenty of others were laid off too.

Then, at a company-wide meeting earlier this year, the CEO announced the cancellation of policies and programs favoring special interest groups. He reassured employees that everyone—even old white guys like himself—would be treated equally. Access to training programs, bonus criteria, raises, and advancement would be based on uniform standards.

The impression internally was that DEI had quietly run its course well before Trump’s election victory. His win merely confirmed a cultural shift already underway.

As Andrew Breitbart put it, “Politics is downstream from culture.”

  1. “Poltics follows culture”. Yup.
    And business follows its wallet.
Those be the devils we know…. Just not the depths they plumb.

  2. DEI has not and is not going to go away. It will regroup, reorganize and return under a different “name”. It exists to promote the lefts agenda…communism. And as such it will NEVER be retired by the communists. Our battle against the left and it’s efforts is eternal. Any retreat or refrain from the fight grants them gains and brings them closer to victory….and our loss of freedom.

  3. Another battle won, but the war goes on. The leftist enemy will never go away.

  4. DEI is not going away. It will never go away. I can’t remember where I read it but all these super huge mega corporations if you combine all the money that they have invested in DEI is around $35 trillion. That’s just under 1/5 of literally all the money in the world. Literally 19% of all global economic effort exist solely to push DEI. It may have gone down in the past year but that’s how hard these far left super huge mega corporations are pushing it.

This is a global government and corporate effort to change how the human race and the human brain thinks and functions and operates on a genetic level. They are never going to stop.

All they’re doing now is changing the name to BRIDGE. Just slap a new coat of paint on it.
