That figures out to about $32 million per vehicle.
And I thought Teslas were expensive.

After 10% for the Big Guy, the rest went to fund DEI.
Looks like it just hasn’t been spent yet. They’re not due to be complete until 2028:

Also, a large percentage of the spend is on electric charging stations:

How many charging stations have gone online?
Don’t know, also don’t know cost per station. So it’s all a guess. But either way, it’s money budgeted for future work, so the meme is a bit premature….
Typically Lefty misdirection – Oh, we’re still “in process” then the grift continues while the watchdogs are distracted.
Hopefully, Trump will cancel the contract
I knew a person in a bureau that paid welfare people’s electric bills.
(One per year, as I understood it. She was high up in the program, and this over 30 years ago.)
She said that for every dollar congress allocated to her program. Less than 10 cents hit the street.
The whole thing was just a scam for political friends to get a paycheck. And a way for those in the “big club” to move up the latter.
Think things have gotten better since then?
3 billion for electric mail vehicles? (Which I personally think is a good idea with all the start/stop they do.) Is nuts.
Thats 3,000 millions. (Think about how many man-hours you would need to work for that? At $29.81 per hour, Plus interest)
When the average jeep mail truck could be made at a profit for $10,000.00 at this point.
3 billion, all for somebodies fantasy about the weather. And a pay-off to the big-club. That you ain’t in.
If your scamware went on full alert over this one? You know it’s working properly.
“Telsa’s”. I know how this happens. Happens to me too. You read way too many examples of incorrect usage, and it seeps into your head.
Or auto”correct” changes it to be wrong, spell checker doesn’t flag it, and we don’t notice it until later.
It is auto-complete, not auto correct that is the culprit.
If I’ve said this before, forgive me, but Autocorrect and Autocomplete are the work of the Devil, and whoever invented them should go straight to Hello.
My city has a electric trash truck, I guess more than one, but during the great snow storm on the Gulf of America it couldn’t run, it took them 2 weeks to catch up. I just noticed when it came by last week that it has a diesel generator mounted on it.
Too funny!
