[We were on Highline Trail near Logan Pass in Glacier National Park and had stepped off to one side to allow people to pass at a wide spot:
The cliff off on the other side of the trail was steep and high.—Joe]
The Narrows is a stretch of trail on the ascent of Long’s Peak in Colorado’s Rocky Mountain National Park. I recall blowing granite dust snot for several days after the ascent, so limpet-like was I on that trail. And I also recall the kids who balanced on their toes at the 500+ foot edge of that section while passing me and chatting with me.
Gravity affects us all the same, but acceptance of that fact differs from individual to individual.
