She forgot to turn the laser off before she put it back in the case however. I lost a few hours of battery life but it wasn’t that big of a deal.

That is genius, really, and not the least for having found a use for a laser on a pistol outside of Hollywood ; )
Then again, the laser could have been used just the same without the pistol attached to it, so the other question would be; what’s the use of having a pistol attached to your laser? Self-protection while giving PowerPoint presentations?
Actually, you detailed a legitimate use for a laser on a pistol, I know– a training aid. Good enough then.
