It appears MSNBC gave Alex Pretti a tan, a stronger jawline, better teeth, shorter forehead, and a nose job to make him look hotter for the AWFLs. They broadened his shoulders, thickened his neck, and gave him biceps.

Since they engaged in this deliberate deception you can be sure there are other deceptions in their reporting of their narrative.
Legacy Media Liars.
AI makes deception so much easier. The videos being produced are of amazing quality. Reality was already tough to discern. The current technology could make it nearly impossible to determine truth from falsity. It would require security certificates from source to viewer, a chain of custody, for recording devices with images and/or sound to come close having a chance of being actually true.
This is very scary stuff.
Almost all developments in technology have decades of “what if” sci fi musings on the topic, and this one is no exception.
It is likely that the “big truths” will still be fairly easy to find, *if you want to*. Allowing yourself to be fooled for something you want to believe will continue to get easier – it will soon be as easy to fool yourself as it has been for most of human history. (blarg)
The “big things” will have many shots from many angles, under many different ownerships, and they will be posted live or nearly so. With AI, that “live or nearly so” doesn’t help as much as it did even 2 years ago, but the “under many ownerships” does. With timestamps for the publishing, people who WANT the truth will be able to check against all the different people’s posting of the same event and tell which ones were faked or manipulated in any significant way.
But that doesn’t help nearly as much with the “crime in my neighborhood”, “the police beat somebody and I’m the only witness”, and other such “less than big” things, where numerous recordings would be weird or even suspicious. Those are going to be hard. Police body cam footage will need to be uploaded multiple somewheres and made available very, very quickly (like, as soon as they get off shift or so), or some other VERY hard to manipulate/fake methodology, *including by the police themselves*, if they want that to remain trustworthy.
The only (sort of) advantage of this kind of thing is how easy it has become for *everyone* to be “the watchers”, so that “who watches the watchers” is bloody well everyone watching each other.
Hey, at least he was totally peaceable…. or, maybe not.
Yeah, kicking out tail-lights on government vehicles might get you noticed.

He’s a leftie, of course the media lies about him to whitewash his past and present activities, expendable commie foot-soldier that he was.
Rule of thumb. If it comes from establishment media it’s fake news
Sadly, the Right has developed its own version of establishment media. Not nearly as big as the Left media but important in the silo. Still though the largest form of bias is the decision about what gets covered.
I remember reading years ago that imagery and the like is admissible as evidence in court not on its own merit or by itself, but only because it comes with sworn statements from the person who made the image originally swearing that it is an accurate and untampered depiction.
That will remain necessary, only more so now that it is getting harder to detect fraud. Michael Crichton covered this well back in 1992 in “Rising Sun”.
The court of public opinion is just as important. Politicians influence over people as well as people influencing politicians and other gullible useful idiots.
Mike the sentient computer in The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress was able to create complete videos of Adam Selene speaking to the public complete with background noise, etc. Rank SF in 1966.
Now we can do the same thing on our desktops and saturate Youtube.
It also muddies the water when an authentic video comes out (like yesterday) and it doesn’t feel like an authentic match against these fake photos.
By design, of course. To quote… well, a lot of people, “You can’t hate the media enough.”
Are they trying to make him less Jewish? We know how much the mainstream media loves Jews.
They reduced his eyeglass prescription, too. In the original, it’s strong enough so that you can see the side of his head through the lenses. In the doctored (heh) photo, it’s not that strong. (I’ve worn crazy-strong glasses long enough that I instinctively look at these things.)
This also has the effect of making his eyes appear larger and less “squinty”, and (subjectively) more innocent.
Also, they straightened his smile — lips AND teeth — and made it appear more attractive and genuine. And straightened his hair a bit, looking less disheveled.
The overall effect is, they took him from “skinny soy-boy ‘Progressive’ Leftist” to “All-American standard man”.
Basically the opposite of what they did with George Zimmerman when they altered photos to make him appear White instead of Hispanic.
Way back in 1994, Newsweek got caught darkening the photo of OJ Simpson they used on the cover. For anyone else it would have just been darkening the picture to indicate the danger, but since he was black, it was a sign of racism. depicting a black man as dark and ominously threatening.
The question that keeps coming to mind is.
Don’t they know they are destroying themselves and their cause by lying?
Just as AI is making itself pretty much useless by lying and altering what is known to be true already. As people require truth from their machines.
They also require it from those in government.
We’re getting little from both. And soon people will no longer trust either.
Or are we in a war and the other side is playing to their base? Sure, we see it as fake. Because we look for the fake lies from the enemy.
But not their base. They’ve been trained not to look passed the picture and the headline.
That training is so ingrained it won’t be reasoned with. It feels no pity or shame. It can’t.
That is the enemy humanity is up against. This is a war. The clown was a soldier that got killed for the cause. A martyr for the glorious revolution. Of course they’re going to paint him as the archetype.
But the point is were at war. And they don’t feel the need to be much different because you aren’t going to be here much longer to point it out.
We need to start acting accordingly. Or lose.
His fanbase is a bunch of middle aged wine moms tanked up on SSRIs, so you know they’re already having trouble getting themselves off. His original photo wasn’t good spank materiel so they had to Chad him up. Poor Prozac Princesses need all the help they can get.
