It is funny. I was in the middle of a good belly laugh when I started reading your comment. You just don't understand that this is a loving and very functional family. Maybe in your world view, in which most people are on the verge of some sort of crackup, you would see this as disturbing. This is what we refer to as "projection". You can look it up.

And it is has become obvious that jokes about killing certain people, like our president for instance, or the vise president, are funny as can be to certain leftists-- they'll get a big ole knee slapper from stuff like that. We may complain, but are immediately told to lighten up by the leftists, who will also accuse us of trying to limit their free speech rights. Put the two together and see how 2 & 2 add up. I am then reminded of how the left wants to tax this or restrict that, to the point of wanting to ban light bulbs, et al. They want us to behave this way and to not behave that way, and I have to then ask:

As for MY wife: She understands that I am the one with the guns and the skill to use them. She is usually pretty nice to me. ; )
