[I find Nugent's statement only worthy of particular note as a bad example for gun owners. But as pointed out by numerous people in the comments to the article Nugent did not threaten to kill anyone. Yet the headline and "The Gun Guys" claim he did threaten to kill them. I guess it's just another case of the bigots not caring what the truth is.--Joe]

I'm wondering if this latest episode of his is going to get him on the talk shows, where he can be questioned about it. I think maybe it will, and since he has a good grasp of the intellectual arguments, and the means to deliver them, maybe his little attention getter is not such a bad thing. We’ll see. If he can sell ratings, and in the rapid-fire news forum I think he can, then the networks would be remiss if they didn't call him.
