I call it the premier Long Distance Precision Rifle Event in the PacNW.

"...in the PacNW"

Is there anything better anywhere in ConUS?

Camp Perry comes to mind in the first few milliseconds. I'm sure there must be others.

They blow stuff up at Camp Perry?:)

Is there anything remotely like it for long range shooting in the US?

My Mom (good old Mom) was concerned that once again I was going to be driving all the way to Idaho from California for Boomershoot (I'm pushing 40 but mothers will be mothers -- at least mine will). "Isn't there something like Boomershoot that's closer?" she said. I told her that the only event remotely like it was Knob Creek, which is across the country and involves machine guns. "Oh," she said. "Well, have fun in Idaho!"

There is the Gateway Colorado event and Ozark Pryo has put on a few reactive target events.

I was taking issue with the "long range" aspect. Boomershoot is only 700 yards. Camp Perry and other events go out to 1000 yards and beyond. Also Boomershoot is just for fun and isn't a competiton. You don't get a trophy for winning or your name in a record book.
