The first thing that comes to mind

Maybe this is proof I'm a gun nut but when I read this:

Under the DMV's plan, motorists will only be able to object to a ticket by email or letter where city employees can ignore or reject letters in bulk without affected motorists having any realistic recourse.

The first thought that went through my mind was, "168 grain Match Kings can reject city employees without any realistic recourse."

The second thought was, "It's no wonder Washington D.C. insists on retaining it's ban on firearms."

That would be sooooo counterproductive, they'd jail you, and hire two more for each one that you "Match Kinged".

Sounds like something particularly vulnerable to civic-minded vandalism...requiring LOTS of EXPENSIVE repairs.

And that's going to reduce DMV's budget by how many clerk's salaries?

Joe, in a capitalist society, (and we still are one, mostly,) the destruction and devaluation of Property is the cardinal sin. You could blast NWO agents until Kingdom Come, and all it would get you is a sore shoulder and some hearing loss.

You will notice that I said those were the first things that went through my mind and that probably made me a "gun nut". I didn't say that was the correct action to take.

There is also some gunny snark opportunity available with the "street sweeper" reference too but I'll avoid it for now.

Thanks for pointing out a more ethical and effective manner of dealing with unethical government.
