This is one of my favorite jokes:

Q: Why were men given larger brains than dogs?
A: So they wouldn't hump women's legs at cocktail parties.

Of course not all men use more of their brain than that used by a dog--particularly after they've had a few drinks.  Which explains the behavior of some men wherever women and alcohol are present.
