Sometimes I wish Murrow had never been born. His successors realized that all they needed to do was their best Murrow impersonation in order to get the public to accept anything as presented, no matter how much information was missing, inaccurate, and no matter how biased.

The general public needs to be aware of this quote by him:
Just because your voice reaches halfway around the world doesn't mean you are wiser then when it reached only to the end of the classroom.
