For something in a Boston newspaper this is amazingly good:
“Even the best available risk factors can identify only a subpopulation in which the risk of committing a mass shooting is on the order of one in a million.” Are we prepared to curtail the freedom of 999,999 Americans who pose no threat in order to keep the one in a million away from guns?
The sweeping use of red-flag laws to withhold Second Amendment rights from anyone with the social characteristics common to mass shooters is akin to President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s order to round up hundreds of thousands of Americans of Japanese descent in order to prevent espionage or sabotage during the war against Japan. Some terrible outcomes might indeed be prevented, but at the price of lost liberties on a wide scale.
Wow. If this had been the Herald it would not be overly surprising, but it’s the Globe — a far left rag akin to the Washington Post and NY Times.

The republicans and democrats are prepared to not just curtail the freedoms of 999,999 they are prepared to literally gi door to door to kill those 999,999 gun owners along with that one and are also prepared to use the full force of the federal government to not just kill those 999,999 but to kill white literally every single solitary person that owns a gun in the entire United stares of America and also are prepared to kill literally every single solitary person in a gun owners home as well if they oppose and they are also prepared to if need be kill literally every single solitary person left that does not own guns but oppposes that. The republicans a d democrats are prepared to not just kill every gun owner but are prepared to quite literally kill the entire population of the United States that would oppose killing e wry gun owner and are prepared to if need be literally kill The entire population of the United States. To the democrats and it seems now republicans the literal complete extermination of all human life in the United stares not them is in acceptable action to take. Most democrats and some republicans view the literal extermination of over 300 milllion United States citizens as an acceptable action to take to get rid of private gun ownership.
