So, as always, when listening to a Roman, it is important to put her words in the proper context, at which point it actually makes sense. Too often we assume stupid incoherence and hypocrisy, when more often than not we’re hearing a consistent and principled argument which is perfectly in harmony with Rome’s long-standing goals. It’s just that they have a totally different set of principles and goals, and it’s critically important to understand that.
Many of them pray to their “god”, but they have a different “god” than a Biblical Christian has. This is important to understand, because you’re going to hear more and more “god talk” as we get closer to the end.
