Quote of the day—Thomas Sowell

If the election goes to Biden there’s a good chance that the Democrats will then control the two branches of Congress and the White House. And considering the kinds of things that they’re proposing, that could well be the point of no return for this country.

  1. Well, Thomas Sowell is often the smartest man in the room…

So, I’ll take that thought as well founded and a probability.

    Jeff B.

  2. And after the SCOTUS going chickens%$t. The BATF is talking crap. FBI/CIA in the bag. Propaganda wing cemented in place. Big business in their pocket.
I would say they already have it all. And their not afraid to use it.
    Even without the senate.
We either destroy our civilization getting rid of them. Or we let them destroy our civilization getting rid of us. Their proposition, not ours.
Remember your dealing with Boko-Haram. The only difference is the America version uses toilet paper.

    • Indeed. I see this morning that every state is considering race in who gets the vaccine and half are prioritizing back and brown over whites.

It won’t be long until white males are last in line for everything. I wonder if that will also apply to guns.

      • And as I think about it, how does chivalry fit into this new order or will it too now be considered an insult, Would that not make it contradictory?

And what happens if something goes badly wrong with the vaccine?

        • In that case, it was developed primarily by white men, or honorary white men, to borrow a concept from eighty years ago with reference to the Japanese vs the Chinese in central European eyes.

Whatever happens can always be spun to the advantage of Leftist propaganda.

          • Then does anything matter or are we destine for a repeat of something that rhymes with the Stalin years and its aftermath?

Or is it more like the run up to WWII as depicted in the mini series “Winds of War” – everyone has forebodings and knew that something was going to happen, but no one was able to stop it.

      • Like I told the politician once. Keep making us outlaws. You not going to like how good we are at it.

    • Once again, WaPo dives in where even Occasional Cortex fears to tread.

Not the sharpest tools in the toolbox, are they?

  4. I generally defer to Mr. Sowell and his wisdom but in this particular instance I believe the most appropriate comment would be “there is no need to point out
the incredibly obvious when the merely obvious will suffice”.
