Quote of the day—Patrick Basham

Despite poor recent performances, media and academic polls have an impressive 80 percent record predicting the winner during the modern era. But, when the polls err, non-polling metrics do not; the latter have a 100 percent record. Every non-polling metric forecast Trump’s reelection. For Trump to lose this election, the mainstream polls needed to be correct, which they were not. Furthermore, for Trump to lose, not only did one or more of these metrics have to be wrong for the first time ever, but every single one had to be wrong, and at the very same time…

Reasons why the 2020 presidential election is deeply puzzling

  1. The results are puzzling only if you accept the Mainstream Media’s assertion that the 2016 election was stolen by the Russians and it was impossible to steal the 2020 election.

Adam Schiff must find it incomprehensible, but I note that he has never yet revealed the incontrovertible evidence he claimed to have that President Trump colluded with the Russians to steal the election.

  2. We all heard, back in 2000 – 2001, that we would never be forgiven for “stealing” that election from Algore. Remember that? The hanging chads, the goons pretending to be careful in the recount?

The first “court appointed president”, we were told, with a spitting, vein-popping hatred. The leftist shills screaming in the streets told us they’d get even. No matter how long it took, they’d get even. Twenty years later, international fraudster Algore will be one of Sleepy’s appointments.

But that’s only half of it. The other half of this story is the Republican complicity, even our own complicity, without which none of this ICC (Infiltrate, Compromise & Corrupt) action would come to fruition. It’s the same old same old, isn’t it? Time and again, and always, we hear Republicans vow and swear and promise and declare to get to the bottom of (fill in the blank, the leftist-perpetrated outrage of the day), only to see them fizzle out along the way, before anything substantive has been accomplished? The excuses, when pressed to come up with one, will be the same as they’ve always been; it’s time to move on, we must spare the American people the turmoil, the rancor will only further divide the nation, it’s unseemly, the optics are bad, there are more important issues facing the world, yadda yadda yadda; we need to come together rather than divide. Oh, and; “We were being killed in the media! There was nothing we could do!” That’s always a good one, as it has the dual purpose of deflecting blame while inciting further rage against the other side.

At what point is Charlie Brown himself accountable for Lucy getting one over on him, exactly the same way, yet again? The third time? The three hundred thousandth? Our problem is always the same as Charlie’s, isn’t it? We WANT to believe! THIS TIME, we tell ourselves, to the contravention of all evidence, WE are really going to knock that football out of the park!

So the main story in this is; both sides sit at the same table. The misdirection, used by both sides, is; “Look at those other guys! Aren’t they terrible? You should be really upset!” And we always fall for it.

So the question in this story is; how long are we going to fall for it? We must answer that before we get into asking, “So where is all of this heading in the long run?” The latter question is the lesser in importance, as it depends upon our continued participation in the illusion, and besides; we all know the answer because we’ve seen it all before. Maybe the main question is; What do we really believe in, exactly, precisely, item by item, line by line, assuming it is NOT the lies and emotions being fed to us every day by those who claim to have our interests at heart? Most of us won’t be able to answer that with notable clarity or consistency because of the lies and emotions we’ve been accepting as our daily bread.

  3. Wonderful and informative article. But there’s nothing puzzling about a communist take-over. Or the mental torture of watching their ignorant antics in doing so.
I need to go target practice now.

  4. Here is another write up detailing “”20 Alleged Election “Facts” That Don’t Pass The Smell Test”. It also includes Basham’s account and is at https://www.zerohedge.com/political/20-alleged-election-facts-dont-pass-smell-test.

It is interesting that the odor is getting more rancid as more anomalies are published, Was this election fair? No and we and they knew that going into it. The deck was already shuffled if not by plan then by 10s of thousands of Dona Brazil’s just doing their duty. Regardless of the reasons, then God Help Us, because fair elections will be impossible leaving us without legal peaceful means to get a seat at the table.

And while history does not repeat it sure rhymes. Like others before us, if we are to get a seat at the table it will be because we helped ourselves using the options available to us. Paraphrasing John Kennedy: Those who make fair elections impossible – as judged by both sides – make violent revolutions inevitable.

The democrats ignore this at their peril. What matters is how we judge the election as fair.

  5. I’m confused. Didn’t all the pre-election media and academic polls have Biden winning, and winning big? Wasn’t it closer than expected and that itself was a surprise?
When the author states. “For Trump to lose this election, the mainstream polls needed to be correct, which they were not.” Weren’t they correct in predicting who would win?
    (assuming Biden becomes President)

    • The polling was a fiction created to cover for the expected massive fraud, in order to make it seem plausible to the low-info masses. The media is little more than the propaganda arm of the Deep State / DNC / uniparty / Globalist faction seeking to subvert and demoralize the nation. Yeah, sounds like the plot-line from a Grisham novel. Turns out to be true, tho. What a time to be alive!
