Quote of the day—Naomi Ishisaka

But the question I have now for our little blue, upper left corner of the U.S. is what are we going to do about the other half of the country that does not see the world the way we do? Are we going to wish them away, or curse them or berate them into acquiescence? Have any of those strategies worked in the past?

Dear Seattle: You can dismiss Trumpism. But how’s that working for you?

[Via email from Chet.

I find it very telling that she considers people who voted for Trump to be a problem in need of a solution. It never seems to cross her mind that perhaps they have a point or two worthy of consideration as to why the progressive agenda is something to be avoided.

Condescension, dismissal, insults, and violence are yielding counterproductive results. Yet, I don’t think they will alter their behavior in a way that will improve their appeal to those who voted against them.

She advocates for “deep, structural changes … to our electoral system, to the control of the media and in many other arenas“. That will not go over well and I think she knows it. I have a nagging feeling she is foreshadowing a “final solution” but doesn’t want to openly say it — yet.

We live in interesting times.—Joe]

  1. I don’t want to be in a country with her any more than she wants to be in one with me. The solution is obvious and involves no bloodshed.

    • I doubt that she would accept a divorce because she is a member of a religion that needs constant reaffirmation of their own illogical beliefs. To her, our very existence is a threat.

      • Yup; exactly. Surely we know that ancient mindset all too well by now. That is; anyone with a cursory understanding of history would know it.

One of our biggest problems when it comes to grasping the true nature of the problem in the world is this– For reasons altogether unsupported by evidence, we believe that things change. “Times change”, we are told, by every leftist ever. Or; “Times have changed”. And so, believing the lie in spite of our eyes and ears, we think we’re past the blatant brutality, the relishing of injustice, suffering and death, and the clever means of imposing them on others which defined the Dark Ages.

        Nothing ever changes.

Sure; we now have computers, internal combustion engines, refrigeration, plastic wrap and the American Method of production, but nothing of the basic mindsets of the world has changed. And there are only a few, basic mindsets in the world. Best we come to identify them.

“And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws…” Daniel 7:25, speaking of the Anti-Christ, AKA the “small horn power”, AKA the whore (apostate church) which rides the beast. It’s all in there, and there’s nothing new under the sun.

“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.” Eph, 5:11 NKJV
So there you are, Joe, exposing (some translations say reproving, etc.) the unfruitful works of darkness, as Paul suggested.

    • Parasites need host, and sadly, cute/handsome parasites will always find desperate men/women willing to take them in and put up with the crazy, s they’ll migrate. r/K selection theory makes more sense every day.

      • It/she ain’t that cute. And your right. We need to quit taking care of the human grass hoppers of the world.
        Biden’s right. Cold, dark winter.

  2. And true to her brainwashing still thinks they won. I use to tell people that said Hillary won the popular vote. Not if you take out dead people, aliens, And just straight up manufactured votes she didn’t.
Would Naomi still feel the same way if she realized that half the country she dislikes, was indeed most of the country? With most of the guns? And their the ones that actually do work for a living?
Were not all fat-asses sitting behind a keyboard in a Seattle high rise. With a plack on the cubicle wall that sez; sense of entitlement, approved?
What she going to do when the sewers backed up?
All ways with the mouth. Short on the work.
Your side got the talking part done, Naomi. She should know it’s almost nut-cutt’in time. Then what?

    • Times like this always remind me of old idioms. In this case, “Beware the fury of a patient man.”

We’ve been putting up we her and her’s crap for a looong time. If 2020 is any indication, the patient man is about out of it. What he does after is anyone’s guess, but it will not be kind.

      • And you don’t need a gun. 8 yrds. truck of concrete poured down the right manhole. And Google office complex would be uninhabitable for a month.
        They got no clue.

        • I have a clue for you… These days it wouldn’t much matter if the Google office complex were uninhabitable for a month. Essentially everyone except physical security and maybe an occasional janitor is working from home.

    • I found it telling in itself that she thinks Seattle is half the country.

Just like New Yorkers who can’t see anything notable west of the Hudson until California and the Pacific Ocean.

They really are so full of themselves they need a colostomy bag to catch the excess.

  3. I used to think the 8 lb fish the statists said they caught was really a 5 or 6lb fish. I’m beginning to think they caught a minnow, but that the lie has been propagated very well.

    • You believe them when they say they caught a fish – any fish – in the first place?

      • I, at least, am willing to stipulate that there’s at least *something* fishy about any claims the collectivists make.

        Does that count?

  4. Of course, this is not just a US problem. From the UK:

‘Emergency laws to “stamp out dangerous” anti-vaccine content online should be introduced, Labour has said. The party is calling for financial and criminal penalties for social media firms that do not remove false scare stories about vaccines.’

‘It follows news of progress on the first effective coronavirus vaccine. The government said it took the issue “extremely seriously” with “a major commitment” from Facebook, Twitter and Google to tackle anti-vaccine content.’

Questioning of authorities is not going to be tolerated. And the more we question, the more they treat us like children and in return the more we distrust. Still it looks like overt censorship and social rankings that determine our allocations and privileges are in our future.

    • Labour is overt commies. If you really want to be frightened, look at what the “Conservatives” do.

  5. I notice that Naomi, bless her heart, doesn’t seem to consider that some of those whom she deplores may well be contemplating what to do about *her* and others of her ilk.

It is a blind spot that may well prove to bite her in her fourth point of contact.
