Quote of the day—Ragin’ Dave

Do these people screaming for war understand that when that comes, the release felt by folks on the right is going to be damn near cathartic?

I’m guessing no, they don’t.  But they’ll learn.

  1. Your never to old to learn a hard lesson,in a bad way. Coming to a city near you in November!

  2. Just remember the OPFOR has been running live training for the last 100+ nights. These aren’t random or uncoordinated crowds, they are as choreographed as the Rockettes and as structured as an NFL game being directed from the booth above.

The latest example is how quickly the Prius in LA was chased down by two cars loaded with strike teams.

    • OK so find a Prius and use it as bait.

      When the time comes.

      In the meantime, study up.

  3. “Cathartic” will be an inadequate description. I know a few people who get up early just to see if it’s started yet, and some of them have travel plans to follow the hot spots like rock band groupies. They’re so ready for it, wouldn’t surprise me to find catering has been arranged.

    • I know people getting training for urban operations from former special forces people. And, of course, the SF people doing the training.

  4. Joe – you nailed this back in Nov of 2018:

The political left doesn’t understand numbers and they don’t understand the psychology of gun owners. Correia gives them some insight:

A friend of mine who is a political activist said something interesting the other day, and that was for most people on the left political violence is a knob, and they can turn the heat up and down, with things like protests, and riots, all the way up to destruction of property, and sometimes murder… But for the vast majority of folks on the right, it’s an off and on switch. And the settings are Vote or Shoot Fucking Everybody. And believe me, you really don’t want that switch to get flipped, because Civil War 2.0 would make Bosnia look like a trip to Disneyworld.

Don’t expect the political left to let facts get in the way of their beliefs.

  5. It is said that it takes two to make a fight. We were told this as school kids, and the implication was that both parties were to share in the guilt and punishment. I never accepted that assertion, seeing it as ridiculous on its surface.

Only in the shallowest possible interpretation does it take two to make a fight, simply because one aggressor cannot, technically speaking, fight himself. He needs a victim. And so the adults who told us school children that it takes two to make a fight would seem to be either mentally deficient or deliberately unfair. Or it could be much worse; they could simply be evil.

Of course it takes two to make a fight: One aggressor and one defender. But wait; who is who? Each may see himself as defender. One might be right but they both could be wrong. It depends on the judgement paradigm, and there is where it gets tricky without a rock-solid foundation.

The problem we run into is that the criminal aggressor always first sees himself as a victim. The Wronged One. He attacks someone believing himself to be dispensing justice, and so when his target fights back he feels doubly victimized. Should anyone take the side of the defender he now feels triply victimized!

The seemingly mentally deficient adults saying, It takes two to make a fight are in fact, morally speaking, siding with the aggressor, seeing no justificatin for self defense on the part of the actual victim. With their doctrine of more or less equal guilt they can never allow for a doctrine of legitimate self defense without exposing themselves as fools or hypocrites!

The reasoning goes that if someone hates you enough to attack you, or steal from you, or destroy your property, then you must have done something to provoke him. That something also must have been wrong on your part. Hence, shared guilt– it takes two to make a fight and you helped make the fight. Shame on YOU, the seeming deficients on the school playground will say! For you to fight back in that paradigm then is indeed to add to your poor attacker’s injury!

Of course all you ever had to do to become the object of the aggressor’s hate is to be relatively more innocent than him, or relatively better than him at something. Between Cain and Able, that “crime” of Able’s carried a death sentence in Cain’s mind and he took it upon himself to be judge, jury and executioner (God’s status, thus embracing the serpent’s lie, “You will be like gods”). We’ve been fighting that same war ever since. Nothing ever changes.

The apparent deficients are also now called “Democrats”. And don’t forget that the first battle of troops facing troops in our first Civil War, the First Battle of the Manassas, July 1861, which the Republicans (the North) thought would be a quick and easy victory, ended up in a Democrat (Southern) victory. Untold hundreds of thousands dead later, we’re still facing the unfinished war between the Republicans and the Confederates. That war was never won or lost; both sides just went home to reload.

But all of this is to ignore the fact that we have all violated the law and are sentenced to death. There’s only one way your life can be saved and it won’t be by your own hand or by the use of arms. The dog and pony show that is war between tribes, or between “right” and “left” (which are two sides of the same coin, Yin and Yang, Lucifer and Satan) is only a distraction from the real conflict, so be careful you don’t get sucked into it as though it mattered.

So in that sense I too am saying that it takes two to make a fight. Yes; one (criminal) attacker and one (perfectly innocent) defender. That one, perfectly innocent defender, by the way, gave his life to save yours. Trying to save your own life then would be an afront to the perfectly good saving that’s already been done.

Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. Romans 5:18, 19

Clearly then, I’m one of the deficients I mentioned above. I’ve come around full circle to “It takes two to make a fight”. It just happenes to work in one, totally different paradigm is all.

My life is forfeit and the world is not fair. How many people would I, we, or someone else, have to kill to change that? If you could wipe out every leftist in the world you’d be left with an authoritarian, church/state absurdity identical in character to ancient Babylon only vastly more powerful. You’d never be done killing.
