Quote of the day—Lisa Bender

Yes, I hear that loud and clear from a lot of my neighbors. And I know — and myself, too, and I know that that comes from a place of privilege.

Trump’s base instincts on display amid reckoning over Floyd’s death
[The required background info is that Bender says Minneapolis is going to defund the police. She is then asked, “What if in the middle of the night my home is broken into. Who do I call?” Her response is what you see above.

Without the video it is almost difficult to believe:

The best response I have seen so far is “Who made this Trump political ad?”—Joe]

  1. Lisa, you ignorant slut. It’s a privilege that working people all across the country pay for with their taxes. How clueless can these people get? Don’t answer that.

  2. I would like to think that the backlash against all the Marxist “privilege” BS will be epic when they (the deluded fools now spouting it, like the dim bulb above) wake up and realize they’ve been totally bamboozled. But then I realize they likely won’t; they’ll double down, because it’s less emotionally traumatizing than admitting they were wrong. They might realize the truth on their death-bed, but by then it’ll be too late. Pray for some sort of enlightenment for enough people in power sometime soon to avert a total blood-bath type civil war.

    • It’s somewhat comforting to know that if the communist do take over. They will shoot her just as fast as they would you or me.

  3. I used to hear that silliness come out of the mouths of brand new social workers when they arrived at my state child welfare agency. After a few months working the streets of metro Detroit their perspective about human nature and behavior changed.

  4. And yet, if Trump (or any other Republican) were the answer we wouldn’t be having this discussion because the problem either would not have manifest in the first place or it would have been solved already.

    And so, to ask that party, which has stood by and watched the left infiltrate, compromise and corrupt our institutions for over 150 years and often participated in said corruption, to solve the problem is somewhat akin to asking a pack of wolves to defend your sheep.

    I used to watch football with my wife. Oftentimes it was clearly visible on the faces of the team which was going to lose, that they would surely lose. You can sometimes see the defeat in their demeanor, in other words, well before the loss becomes official. America as a principled nation was past that point of defeat, in her demeanor, 100 years ago.

    But as for the two parties; this is not defeat at all, but victory. When one sees the same behavior of compromise, corrupt and expand, over and over again, consistently for generations, one must conclude that the inevitable outcome has been the intent all along, else the behavior would have changed.

    Next comes the only argument left to have; the decision on the one remaining question;
    Has the abandonment of principles, and the resultant corruption, truly been intentional among the two parties or have we been consistently electing the very dumbest, most clueless and ignorant people on the planet to run our institutions? And if the latter, then wait; who has been controlling the nomination process? For, with rare exception, we elect only those candidates chosen, bred and upheld by the parties.

    Of course the follow up question is;
    Does it at this point really matter, one way or the other? Either way, the world is ruled by evil and the accomplices of evil.

    And then what’s going to happen is this; the powers-that-should-not-be will, in their artful coyness, pretend to hear our cries of “foul!” and “shenanigans!” and will respond by offering us their already long prepared alternative, their Final Solution as it were, which will be an international, church/state conglomerate system, founded in “compassion”, dedicated to “human rights”, the abolition of poverty and the “stewardship of Mother Earth”, or similar and brilliantly crafted language to that effect.

    That system will be the most horrifically evil and destructive ever, yet after all the pain which the power mongers have been causing for this purpose, the peoples of the world will welcome it. Some will welcome it with such enthusiasm as to shout out, Free at last! Free at last! Thank God almighty; we are free at last!” Others will merely tolerate it, and either way is acceptable; it works all the same. The beast will accept its mark on either your head (your embracing of the lies, accepting the doctrine in your mind) or on your hand (your allegiance displayed in your actions, however reluctant).

    For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 1 Thesolonians 5:3 KJV

    And so, as always, the message is; Come out of Babylon! Come out of her my Paople! But Christ’s people must have His mark on both the hand and the forehead.

    Praying for a man (or woman, or androgynous, etc. person), or political system, to arise and set up a new government on Earth, which would push back the forces of evil and oppression and set things to right, is to make the very same mistake as the Pharisees of old, which is to deny your one and only savior. The consequent destruction of Jerusalem at the behest of Rome was horrific (parents were eating their children to survive, and the crucified dead were planted like forests, stretching for miles), but that’s just a type, a microcosm, of what’s coming.

    • Regardless of whether Trump is the solution to the problem the attitude of Bender and others like her can and will be used to the advantage of team Trump.

      • It is interesting how many (((people))) identify as white in one place to decry white privilege and demand that it be eliminated at all cost, and to identify (((primarily something else))) to demand that antisemitism is the greatest threat to civilization and Jewish people of any type must be protected at all costs by everyone.

        It gets to be a tiresome game. It’s not that difficult to understand. Pick a team, declare your colors and fly them proudly, play to help your team prosper, or history might repeat itself in a most unfortunate and personal way, as people perceived as traitors are rarely treated well when things start to fail and collapse.

  5. At the end of that clip, there’s a comment that makes perfect sense in the socialist world.
    Socialism is based on equalizing misery. For example, if some people are rich, make them poor so all are equally poor.
    In this particular case, some (“privileged”) get good police service while others are claimed not to get that. The solution is to change things so no one gets good police service. Presto changeo, inequality problem “solved”.
    Of course, this glosses over the fact that this “equality” thing never applies, in any way, to those in power. They get all the goodies, whether it’s wealth, protection, good health care, or anything else the masses are denied. For an example, consider Mayor Lori in Chicago, who established a Constitution-free zone around her home, guarded 24/7 by a force of 100 policemen, to ensure her sleep won’t be disturbed by the voices of the plebs. First amendment right to peaceful protest? Not on her block, no indeed.
