The voice of tolerance

I received an email today from a honeypot I created for people looking for Dana Loesch’s address and phone number (use Google to search for “Dana Loesch’s address and phone number” to find my honeypot):

From: Dirk Digler <beefstew317@gmail.com>

Subject:

Hey joe..
Go FIST FUK YOURSELF! And while you’re at it…fist fuk that filthy cunt too!! You people need to be taken out!

It’s so nice to have the voice of tolerance visit my website and comment every once in a while.

This is what they think of you. They want you dead.

Prepare accordingly.

Update: I sent my new visitor an email thanking him for visiting my web site. He replied in his usual gracious manner:

    • I think this was a test to see how many of us were dumb enough to let our curiosity lead us into that trap, after being told that it was a trap.

      I failed too.

  1. Guess I’m another suspect. (you knew most of us couldn’t resist) Although I do have an agreement with members of a local PD that they will never charge me with “attempted” murder if the subject is still alive.

Actually, you’re being nice about it. Knew a guy back in the day that had entire servers out on the net with a variety of file names guaranteed to get a script kiddie’s attention. Depending on which set of files you tried to access you could end up with a warning notice popping up on your system to don’t do that, or, for ones involving younglings, having your system wipe itself.

He was also know for doing interesting field studies of the interactions of microwave RF units and excessively loud car stereo amplifiers.

Good guy to stay on the right side of.

  2. I think its safe to assume that the folks actually reading and commenting on this blog and similarly oriented blogs are “of interest” to the monitors.

As far as Dirk Digler, another friggin’ Piss Ant.

    Jeff B.

    • Been reading Joe’s blog for 10+ years. Been to Boomershoot twice. With foreigners. They still let me naturalize as a US citizen.

If the “monitors” have a problem with me, I don’t know it. Been through the FBI and NCIS databases enough times. The US Navy and Marine Corps gave me base access passes so I can’t be that “interesting” to them!

  3. the sender was clearly the southern orifice of a north bound jackass.
Just appreciate what his response would be facing you at 10 yds and the timer about to start…

  4. Ok, I don’t know how to read that. Will the IP address give me his identity? Help me out here.

    • With the cooperation (search warrant) of the Internet Service Provider the IP can be converted into the subscriber name. If it was someone’s home you are almost done. If it was Starbucks, then law enforcement will need store video and credit card info to, perhaps, narrow it down.
