Quote of the day—Dinesh D’Souza @DineshDSouza

If you want to live in places that get burned down by rioters while the police evacuate and the politicians in charge celebrate the pyromaniacs, then you should vote for the Democrats in November.

  1. And the vast majority of them with full knowledge will do exactly that. Because orange man bad.

  2. At this point it’s all about picking the style and flavor of the rationalizations for fascism. Your world view determines the set of rationalizations you’ll be persuaded to accept. That determines whether you vote for the Party of the Confederacy and the KKK or the party of (Jumpin’) Jim Jeffords, the Patriot Act and the Trump “stimulus check”.

Both parties fully embrace some form of Keynesian economics, both lean toward fascism, and all roads lead to Rome. It’s just a matter of how they get us there. Go ahead and pick your poison (one party or the other, one cult of personality or the other, one earthly god-king or the other), but don’t tell me it’s good food or medicine.

Remember that I view party enthusiasm, party loyalty, or the exaltation of a man, as a form of insanity similar to addiction. Certainly the alcoholic sees his booze as medicine, even a cure-all, and he loves it, all the while it is killing him. So when I see people getting hyped up over one Romish political party verses the other, to me it’s two ragged, homeless alcoholics fighting in an alley, one favoring wine, for example, and the other gin. To them it is such a major issue that they could come to blows over it. They’ll expend every resource they have in the attempt to get their chosen drink, but the outcome is going be exactly the same either way, eventually. They’re both on the same road to suffering and death. It’s just a matter of time.
