Welcome to the party, pal! And this guy’s a constitutional lawyer professor? Better late than never. I guess.
Kopel has been writing articles, opinion pieces, books and legal briefs supporting the rights of gun owners for decades. A quick scan of my bookshelf came up with The Samurai, the Mountie, and the Cowboy from 1992, and that’s just the book I believe is earliest in my collection. I wouldn’t call that “late”.
Kopel is a real powerhouse on our side of this issue.

Dave has been cited in Supreme Court opinions in support of 2A. Welcome to the party? Dave is among the best.

I have been reading Kopel’s work on gun rights for almost 30 years.
By the way, he was an assistant Attorney General for the state of Colorado, so he knows the issues from both sides.
He is one of our heavy hitters.
MThead, where you been? 😉
My apologies! To one and all! My uninformed opinion was clearly wrong.
