Gun cartoon of the day

The political left has been calling “gun violence” an epidemic and using other disease terminology to describe firearm ownership and misuse. So, it’s perfectly reasonable, and just as effective, to extrapolate in the other direction.

  1. eh, there’s no point getting upset about meaningless “item-free zone” signs. they’re just part of the background static, a byproduct of laziness and guilt; people put up meaningless signs because it lets them feel like they accomplished something without actually having to put in any real work — pleasing laziness while assuaging the guilt over being lazy.

if i got mad about every meaningless “(bicycle icon) share the road” sign, or “sharrow” painted on the roadway, that i cycle by routinely, i’d just be worsening my blood pressure instead of improving it with the exercise, and i’d never actually accomplish anything more than those signs do. one can’t fight the human condition.
