Quote of the day—Fritz Edmunds

If plastic water bottles are okay, but plastic bags are banned, — you might live in a nation (state) that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots WE DO LIVE IN SUCH A DUMB COUNTRY!!

If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but not for entering and remaining in the country illegally — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you have to get your parents’ permission to go on a field trip or to take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you MUST show your identification to board an airplane, cash a check, buy liquor, or check out a library book and rent a video, but not to vote for who runs the government — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If the government wants to prevent stable, law-abiding citizens from owning gun magazines that hold more than ten rounds, but gives twenty F-16 fighter jets to the crazy new leaders in Egypt — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If, in the nation’s largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas, but not one 24-ounce soda, because 24-ounces of a sugary drink might make you fat — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If an 80-year-old woman who is confined to a wheelchair or a three-year-old girl can be strip-searched by the TSA at the airport, but a woman in a burka or a hijab is only subject to having her neck and head searched — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If a seven-year-old boy can be thrown out of school for saying his teacher is “cute” but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class in grade school is perfectly acceptable — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If hard work and success are met with higher taxes and more government regulation and intrusion while not working is rewarded with Food Stamps, WIC checks, Medicaid benefits, subsidized housing, and free cell phones — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you pay your mortgage faithfully, denying yourself the newest big-screen TV, while your neighbor buys iPhones, time shares, a wall-sized do-it-all plasma screen TV and new cars, and the government forgives his debt when he defaults on his mortgage — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If being stripped of your Constitutional right to defend yourself makes you more “safe” according to the government — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

THINK BEFORE YOU VOTE IN ALL UPCOMING ELECTIONS. MOST OF THE IDIOTS RUNNING THIS COUNTRY SAY ONE THING AND DO THE OPPOSITE KNOWING THAT THE PEOPLE WHO VOTED THEM IN DO NOT PAY ATTENTION

Channeling Jeff Foxworthy In a Country Founded by Geniuses and Run By Idiots (the link is dead as of December 12, 2019)
[This has been attributed to Jeff Foxworthy but that is probably incorrect.

It would appear this is just as true now as it was almost seven years ago.—Joe]

  1. I don’t really need to say it anymore, do I?

What if the leftist leaders and their foreign allies, partners in crime, actually know what they’re doing? What if they know what they’re doing far better than we know what they’re doing?

What if they’re been purposely sowing the seeds of discontent, frustration and anger, and purposely committing injustices, so as to foment chaos to bring about fundamental transformation of the world order while living off of the backs of the honest and the productive?

In that case, just maybe, you’re living in a country founded by ordinary people, or above average people, or possibly even geniuses, which is currently run by the evil.

Maybe IQ has nothing whatsoever to do with any of this. Maybe that “genius verses idiots” talk is all just us stroking our own silly egos because it’s all we have.

Maybe we’re being manipulated while referring to our manipulators as the idiots in the relationship? How deliciously evil, and pathetic, would that be?

Or is that just my paranoia? Is it paranoid of me to notice that I’m paying the bills of those “idiots” while they enjoy full benefits and retirement packages? Is it paranoid of me to have heard them when they were talking of “fundamentally transforming” this country and getting enthusiastic applause for it? Was it paranoid of me to notice when they called working class Americans “deplorables” after saying since the 1960s that there are far too many humans on the planet? Is it paranoid of me that I can put two and two together and arrive at the sum of four? Is it paranoid of me to have noticed that it was a Republican president, Bush 41, who popularized the term “New World Order”, speaking of it in glowing terms on national television?

While we’re calling the leftists “idiots” they’re making away with everything we own, and if that’s not enough, they’re claiming rightful title to it!

“Look at those idiots” we say, as they’re making off with our children’s inheritance, counterfeiting our currency like never before in world history, and colluding with the enemies of liberty worldwide. And we point at them and laugh, and slap our knees; “Hah hah hah! What a bunch of Bozos!”

Does it really matter that the enemies of liberty can’t draw an AR-15 freehand to exact specifications? Why would they care? They scarcely need guns to defeat us anyway– They already occupy every one of our country’s major institutions and control the infrastructures.

Is THIS where we’re going to search for comeuppance? They’re running the show, picking our pockets, teaching our children, and grinding us and our principles (such as we still have) into the mud but at least we can find some way to criticize them; we can make fun of their cartoon art?

I know; I’m a hypocrite. Guilty as charged.

  2. I used to think our elected leaders were idiots, or profoundly ignorant. While I still think that is true (many of the elected puppets are morons and ignorant), it’s only half the story. The puppet-masters are evil. Most people don’t see the puppeteers yet, or only see the obvious “rich donors.” That’s starting to change.
