Quote of the day—Ben Joseph Woods

The legal precedent we would set by allowing the legislature to selectively ignore enumerated rights at will is the same mindset that 150 years ago lead this country into a civil war.

  1. He called it plain. We’ll see if their able to constrain themselves. But they can’t say they haven’t been warned. Tar and feathers. That would be fun to watch!

Oh! It’s recent! I was sure it had to be from 1934 at the latest, or more likely 1916 We’re far beyond all that now.

Of course; “warning” the upper level operatives of the Beast that they’re violating the constitution and might even be dragging us into civil war is a bit like “warning” an alcoholic that the liquor he’s drinking could get him drunk if he’s not careful.

  3. It should be obvious to one and all that the “sanctuary city/county” for guns is a riff on the leftists claims of being sanctuary cities for illegal aliens, and openly flaunting the unwillingness to enforce dully passed and legal laws. Flaunt one, then why not another? Why can we not all pick and choose on a host of other issues? We are either a nation of laws, or we are not. And, it’s becoming increasingly obvious, that as far as the left is concerned, we are not. It’s only about who has the power. The vapors the leftists get is almost as comical as their hypocrisy. Or, at least, it would be if it were not so dangerous.
