Beto Goes to Kent State, Argues Only the Government Can Be Trusted With Guns
[One might claim Beto pegged the irony meter. More careful reflection should bring to mind that leftist governments regard shooting disarmed civilians with little or no risk a feature, not a bug.—Joe]

  1. It’s a natural mistake to think everyone understands history like you do. They don’t. And I’m pretty sure Beto would go anywhere he could get 3 people to listen to him. Irony be damned!

  2. You know, Beto goes to Kent State maps nearly onto The Ramones’ Bonzo goes to Bitburg. We just need to make up some verses.

  3. Pegged the Irony Meter? Way back when men first walked on the Moon, I was in a scout troop that was excited by the whole adventure. Electronics were new and miraculous things, and one thing I learned was that you did not want to peg the meter, because the sweep of the pointer from one end of the meter to the peg at the other could (and apparently often did) cause the needle, as light-weight as it was, to want to keep going, even with the little inertia it had, and break off.
Beto O’Rourke, if he did not break the needle, bent it, so that now, just sitting in a room silent and asleep, his irony measurement is no longer zero.
And I still want to know what his wife thinks about him having a nickname given to him by their housekeeper.

  4. Well, the Kent State massacre was perpetuated by the national guard, which every good leftist knows is what the Second Amendment means when it says ‘militia’. So maybe Beto is saying we need to ban the national guard from having guns. Makes as much sense as anything else he says.
