Quote of the day—A. R. G. @AdamRobGoCop

“I’m a pussy with a small dick so I carry a gun because I’m a coward and it makes me look like less of a coward” is that closer?

This was in response to the question:

What’s the state motto of New Hampshire, you idiot?

I’m listening to the book Militant Normals: How Regular Americans Are Rebelling Against the Elite to Reclaim Our Democracys:

The author, Kurt Schlichter, addresses this attitude, and even brings up “penis size” in the gun debate. His claim is that “The Elites” despise “The Normals” and many even want us dead. He makes some good points. A. R. G. @AdamRobGoCop provides us with another data point supporting Schlichter thesis.—Joe]

  1. “You’ve exhausted our goodwill and we have had enough of being taken advantage of”. – via a tweet from Tim Pool: Where are the adults?

  2. A man that open carries has been given reason to carry that weapon. Here’s an FYI for you it’s something that the Lying Fake News Media will NEVER tell you!

Guns used 2.5 million times a year in self-defense. Law-abiding citizens use guns to defend themselves against criminals as many as 2.5 million times every year — or about 6,850 times a day. [1] This means that each year, firearms are used more than 80 times more often to protect the lives of honest citizens than to take lives.

Here’s more for you they don’t want you to know.

Even anti-gun Clinton researchers concede that guns are used 1.5 million times annually for self-defense. According to the Clinton Justice Department, there are as many as 1.5 million cases of self-defense every year. The National Institute of Justice published this figure in 1997 as part of “Guns in America” — a study which was authored by noted anti-gun criminologists Philip Cook and Jens Ludwig.[5]

    * Armed citizens kill more crooks than do the police. Citizens shoot and kill at least twice as many criminals as police do every year (1,527 to 606).[6] And readers of Newsweek learned that “only 2 percent of civilian shootings involved an innocent person mistakenly identified as a criminal. The ‘error rate’ for the police, however, was 11 percent, more than five times as high.”

You can continue to be ignorant on this subject or do your own research. The choice is yours, and you are guaranteed that choice by our Constitution which is defended by the Patriots of this Nation!

  3. “The Elites” despise “The Normals” and many even want us dead.

Hillary’s “Basket of Deplorables” quote comes to mind.

One could make a lengthy and convincing case, using evidence from a hundred fifty years of quotes from Democrats, American Progressive Marxist politicians and other leftist thinkers, that they do indeed, very much want us dead. Just one out of thousands of examples is the decades-old leftist assertion that there are billions too many people on Earth, and that we’re literally destroying the planet just by being here.

“How Regular Americans Are Rebelling Against the Elite to Reclaim Our Democracys” (sic).

There it is again; an example of conflating “democracy” with “liberty” by implication. We know they’re not the same, and can become polar opposites, we’ve warned about the tyranny of the majority, and yet we can’t yet find it in ourselves to be consistent in saying so. FDR used the term “Arsenal of Democracy” to describe the U.S. during W.W. II., but of course, he was a Democrat.

An “Arsenal of Liberty” on the other hand would be something else altogether. Mostly it would be an “arsenal” of ideas, doctrines and concepts. Without that arsenal no amount of weaponry can be of any value. Fighting without being certain what one fights for is pointless, unless, that is, the fighting is the goal unto itself.

Fighting for democracy would consist of making sure the votes were counted proper, and that the demands of the majority were carried out. But America has never run like that. There’s a constitution that includes a lot of anti-democratic features. So the phrase “reclaiming our democracy” is gibberish. Word salad, meaning nothing. Democracy is largely responsible for getting us into this mess. “Reclaiming the founding principles of our republic” might work better.

I like “reclaiming the principles of liberty”, and in that case we need discuss the source and meaning of those principles, and that would be a dividing process. In the language of the left, it’d be divisive, separating the posers from the serious. The phrase “Reclaiming our Democracy” I believe is designed for broad appeal, and that’s why all actual meaning would’ve had to be washed out of it.

This may seem like nit-picking to some, and that’s the problem. Thinking, speaking and writing clearly, and as though we have some inkling of what we’re saying, is not a trivial matter.

Some people haven’t the time for it. They have too much to say and too little time in which to say it. Therefore; gibberish.

Another thought; saying we’re “rebelling” against the elite is to assume that they’re the authority. No; they’re the rebels, see. One does not “rebel against” robbers, rapists, arsonists and vandals. One upholds the law. Upholding the Law of Liberty is not “rebellion”. Violating it is.

    • I wonder if he would have the intestinal fortitude to talk like that to Erin Palette? 😀
