Don’t say things like “They must be destroyed” to people whose two (2) sociopolitical settings are “Debate; Vote; Write Congressman; Complain On Social Media” and “Burn Continent Down To Bedrock”.
You might not have the awareness to thank whatever you perceive as holy that they don’t take you seriously. You will certainly regret the day that you are successfully persuasive.
While that is very well written, I have to disagree. The left CANNOT TOLERATE even the thought of one person living free, or outside of their authority. It’s all or nothing, and even the thought of annihilation is better than the though of living in a world with free people in it. One need look no farther than the Israeli “Palestinian” conflict for proof of that. If the “Palestinians” would spend half the effort in farming, building things, and in commerce that they spend lobbing missiles and plotting and committing other capital crimes, they could have a thriving community. But you see, they CANNOT.
For another thing, leftists already tend to be more suicidal than the population as a whole. I have no empirical data to back that up, but if you were to look you’d surely find it.
To be a good and proper leftist, one must be “alienated”. In other words, one must be convinced of one’s perpetual victimhood. This “alienation” becomes the foundation of one’s very identity. That “alienation” being a state of victimhood, of course requires perpetrators. That’d be us; anyone who upholds the American founding principles of liberty, or the Ten Commandments (for the former is based in the latter).
The thought of living in peace with the other side, then, is simply unacceptable to the left. Come what may, there is “justice” to be done. You and I perhaps want more than anything to be left alone, to get on with our lives unmolested. Even after much suffering at the hands of others we’d be willing to make some deal if we thought it could result in peace. By contrast, the left CANNOT leave us alone, nor “get on with their lives”. It is simply not possible. Their angst won’t allow it. They would see peace as a blatant injustice, a continuing insult which they could never tolerate.
This is al beautifully illustrated in the Scriptures. For one thing, Cain (we could call him the first of the “alienated”), having murdered Able, later protested to God that he would then be a marked man, and that others would kill him, and thus he could not bear God’s punishment. God therefore made a deal with Cain. Cain was given protection, which gave him some manner of authority, which is passed on to his descendants, and manifests later in the stories. We forget these lessons at our peril.
I’ve heard it put “Write polite letters to Congressman” vs. “It’s hockey masks, dune buggies, and bullhorns time.”
And yes, I am well aware that “a majority of white people” != “a majority of America.” I wonder how that came to be, what with the Founders explicitly saying “for ourselves and our posterity” in the Preamble to the Constitution. It couldn’t possibly have anything to do with Leftists realizing that white people wouldn’t vote for their insane and destructive schemes, so they’d have to import a new electorate (as Bertolt Brecht put it, “Would it not be easier / In that case for the government / To dissolve the people / And elect another?”), one with low IQs and lower standards, preferably from unstable Third World thugocracies where this week’s self-declared Generalissimo-and-Emperor-for-Life promises free stuff to rowdy mobs whenever he feels threatened, and that’s all it takes because that’s all those people want or expect from their governments. Right? They’d never do that, since even the UN defines that as “genocide.” Am I right, guys? Am I right? These people don’t despise us and see us as subhuman, and an obstacle to their plans, right? They couldn’t possibly see us the way the Communists in South Africa see the Boers, right? Right?
But I’m glad that he’s come out and admitted that their intent is to “destroy” us. Maybe that’ll change a few minds and harden a few hearts for the interesting times to come.
I note with some amusement that the entire comment is directed at ‘YOU’. Usually the leftists have a little fig leaf of ‘us’ or ‘we’, but no, this little king thinks he has all the answers and everyone will snap to at his direction.
Where the metal meets the meat, I’m fairly confident Mr Mystal has lots of suggestions, but he’s a bit shy on putting his fists where his mouth is.
