Quote of the day—Alan Gottlieb

Here in the United States, where we have the Second Amendment as the cornerstone of our Bill of Rights, anybody who seriously believes the citizens will line up to just hand over their guns may be too delusional to be president.

DEM. CANDIDATES SHOULD TAKE LESSON FROM NEW ZEALAND, SAYS CCRKBA
[Mostly correct. It should be expanded to say the equivalent of, “…is too delusional to be elected to any political office.”—Joe]

  1. I thought BEING delusional was the touchstone that got you in office?
I mean, isn’t believing in rationales based on faulty or fraudulent premises delusional?
I don’t think you could get elected by saying; “elect me, I just want to feel important!”

    • How do you think Alexandria “Bar-Tender” Occasional-Cortex got into office? Fraud, astro-turf, blackmail, and delusions (both hers and the voters’).

      • Actually I think she was selected and put in power to transform this nation into a leftist paradise. She has been well financed and had a sophisticated net savvy PR effort backing her every step. She is now for all practical purposes acting as the House speaker.

How does a freshman bar-tender do all that on her own?

        • And in the next trick, we will see AOC sit on George Soros’s lap and sing the Internationale while he drinks a glass of water.

    • In Los Angeles about 35 years ago there was a Los Angeles City Councilman who had, as part of his election platform, “I want a new car.” He got elected to the County Board of Supervisors on that.
Or were the offices reversed? It’s been so long and the office holder so irrelevant, I forget.
