Quote of the day—Barack Obama

Some of you may be aware our gun laws in the United States don’t make much sense. Anybody can buy any weapon, any time. Without much, if any, regulation, they can buy it over the Internet, they can buy machine guns.

SHAMELESS! Obama Heads to Brazil, Lies REPEATEDLY About American Gun Laws
[Lying. That is what gun grabbers do. The truth is toxic to them and their agenda. Lying and deception has been a essential part of their culture for over 25 years.—Joe]

  1. “When his lips are moving”.

Punchline to the question of when Soetero lies about guns (or most anything…)

    Jeff B.

  2. You can [legally] buy Title II weapons over the internet: https://gunspot.com/machineguncentral/ , however, the regulation is extreme. The point being is that Dear Leader is not making the case to grab guns, but rather to suppress speech on the internet, which is his aim here.

    * He is making the case for Salseforce.com to stop doing business with gun dealers: https://www.cnbc.com/2019/05/30/salesforce-bans-some-gun-sellers-from-using-its-software.html
    * JPMorgan Chase is doing the same: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-04-13/jpmorgan-cfo-lake-says-bank-has-cut-exposure-to-gun-industry
    * Citibank has done the same: https://thehill.com/policy/finance/379788-citibank-to-require-clients-to-place-restrictions-on-gun-sales
    * New York (who regulates many large banks) has issued a warning to bankers: https://www.americanbanker.com/news/ny-bank-regulator-warns-of-reputational-risk-from-working-with-nra
    * GoogleYoutubeTwitterFacebook, who were allegedly for free speech are adjusting their algorithms to “stealth ban” all things firearms. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrJM6ALCRCM

The calls to ban all guns are there. https://newrepublic.com/article/125498/its-time-ban-guns-yes-them

They can not win in the legislature or courts, now they are leveraging their position with the tech titans and banking.

  3. The humorous part is that when Obama changed the form 4 paperwork to transfer machinegun/suppressors. he made to harder on trusts. (everyone in the trust has to complete a responsible person form, with fingerprints.) but he bypassed local law enforcement sign-off. you just send a copy to the local sheriff now. rather than having to wait for him to sign the form before you could move forward through the BATF bullstein approval wait line.
Funny part about background checks that no one talks about is that the persons doing them are so incompetent. our shop had several people that waited upwards of 20 months for approvals. that already owned suppressors!
Indeed, that was how many of them would end the debacle was by asking their examiner what had changed from their last approval? Of course many had waited over a year thinking it was a “normal”,” were just really swamped here” lie thing.
Soviet-Russian bureaucracy has nothing on these folks!
Virginia beach shooting should put the last coffin nail the background check myth. (the guy passed them all)!

    • Virginia beach shooting should put the last coffin nail the background check myth.

It is irrational of you to expect people to be rational.

      • Yes. Best to expect people to be randomly irrational, and be pleasantly surprised when they aren’t.

      • Ya, I know. I’ve been a misfit all my life because of that. but thanks for only terming me as “irrational”. many folks are much harsher.

  4. Obama lied? I’m shocked, shocked I tell you!
Of course he lied. He’s a commie demonrat.
Lying is what they do. In fact it’s just about the
    ONLY thing they do.

  5. Whatever you do, don’t expect the left to be ashamed of their lying. They’re proud liars. It would be similar to expecting General Schwarzkopf to be ashamed for having deceived the Iraqis about which direction the invasion was coming from.

In war, deception is the name of the game. If lying works, even a little bit, then lying is good; do it more. If it doesn’t work, then adjust the lie or repackage it until it does.

In that mindset, anything which works to gain even a temporary advantage is a good thing. A victory. It means you’re more clever than the person you successfully deceived. Thus, lies are clever and good, and truth is poison, and those who adhere to truth are stupid.

Yeah; so don’t ever expect shame to work on the left. Where you see a cause for shame, they see a source of great pride.

  6. Some of you may be aware our gun laws in the United States don’t make much sense.

That first line is the undiluted truth.
