Quote of the day—Eric Swalwell @ericswalwell

Keep your #2A rights. Keep your shotguns, keep your pistols, keep your rifles. I just want to take the most dangerous weapons out of the hands of the most dangerous people.

[Swalwell wants the Democrat nomination for President of the U.S. His tag line is “Go big. Be bold. Do good.”

With his attitude toward gun ownership he’s got the “go big” and “be bold” part covered. But that has eliminated the possibility of “do good”. It’s no use trying to explain in words to him. The courts and voters are going to have to teach him that lesson.

Swalwell also has the nickname of “Nuke ‘em” because he said he would use nukes against U.S. citizens who fought gun confiscation.

The best response I saw was this from T-no @Insomniac0311:

NukeMe

Don’t ever let anyone get away with telling you no one wants to take your guns.—Joe]

  1. To Swallwell…

“You’ll be given a fair trial and be shot at dawn…”

Straight out of Hogan’s Hero’s, but about what that seditionist piece of crap should get.

  2. Thing is, he won’t learn the lesson even if he is voted down. His failure will be someone else’s fault. The Germa, ah, American people were not worthy of his leadership. And so on. But it will never be *him* that is at fault.

At least in his own mind.

  3. Seems to that there is a serious need for several thousand copies of Ross’s “Unintended Consequences” to be reprinted and mailed to these people and their enablers – in a plain brown wrapper, of course, heh, heh.

  4. Did this Moron just say: you can keep your rights, shotguns, pistols, and rifles. just not the dangerous ones? While his police friends are stealing air rifles from people in N.Z.? HAHAHAHAHA!
Like he’s the first one to ever tell us that lie? this rises far above the level of commie brain washing. your right Joe, it’s a mental disorder. (Maybe all the pot his mama smoked during germination?)

  5. They’ve got to be stealing elections. no other way to account for it.

    • No, they are not stealing elections. They are reaping the fruits of the public school system where no one has been taught to think critically for quite some time. I find it ironically fascinatin, in a morbid kind of way, that those protesting “The Man” in the sixties have themselves become “The Worse Man”. The lunacy and irrationality of this is amazingly lost on them. Either they were mentally deficient to begin with and the public schooling paradigm exploited that or, public schools are one unbelievably effective propaganda machine. Just take a few power hungry wannabe despots who promise anything and everything from the public coffers and some illustrious public school products (using graduate is an insult to the real meaning of that word) and you get what we see now. I still can’t wrap my head around the irrationality of it all even though I can see it.

    • It’s an open secret the left are stealing elections, I’ve even overheard conversations about it.

Why else do you think they fight against voter ID so tenaciously?
Why else would they work to get illegals driver’s licenses?
WHy else would they push for mail-in ballots that can be easily filled out fraudulently?
Why else are there so many elections where post-election audits reveal very weird numbers, including last minute Democrat surges, and in some cases greater than 100% turnout?

  6. What good are weapons if they aren’t dangerous? If the time comes to clean house, I want me and my dangerous friends to be as well armed as possible.

  7. I think this Russian quote is appropriate:

“Is gun. Is supposed to be dangerous!”

(No, I don’t remember where I saw that.)

    • The correct quote, as I understand it, is :
      “Is gun. Is not safe.”

You can thank one of my SF friends, the late Kevin R.C. O’Brien, known a ‘WeaponsMan’ for that.
