Quote of the day—Steve Reams

It’s a matter of doing what’s right.

I’ve explained that time and time again. I’m not bluffing.

  1. I saw a brief interview with him on TV the other day. The main thing that stood out is that he didn’t explicitly and plainly point out that obeying the Constitution is not just his wish but his sworn duty, and that’s what this is about.

  2. NV too. Local Sheriff and County Commission where I live told the state to pound sand about UBC. Sheriff got right in the Governor’s face.

  3. The Sheriffs are on solid ground. SOCTUS, has spoken on this many times. Sheriffs are under no obligation to enforce any law. Good on ’em. they’re some of the last protection we have. call ’em and thank ’em.

  4. It’s nice to see sheriff’s making these statements about 2A rights. But it’s mostly theatre……they are NOT in any actual danger of being punished for refusal to
enforce a law. There exist too many legal precedents that grant DA’s and LEO
essentially total discretionary power about who they arrest and prosecute and for what. And the commie demonrats who get these unconstitutional laws on the books KNOW that once the law is in place EVENTUALLY they will be able to get those LEO who won’t enforce them replaced by ones who WILL. They are playing the ‘long game’….getting the law passed is the important part. Eventually they then be able to use those laws. As long as that is reality nobody is safe from persecution for exercising their 2A rights ( or any other rights for that matter).
