Quote of the day—Alan Gottlieb

The gun control crowd invariably loses its voice when a bad guy is shot while committing a crime. Groups such as Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action scream loudly when they push restrictive gun laws to disarm honest citizens, but when an intended victim is able to win in a deadly confrontation, they quickly stick their heads in the sand and pretend nothing happened.

Their silence is not only deafening, it is deadly.

  1. The antis have learned, it seems to me, that pulling the poor-criminal-didn’t-need-to-be-shot bit is counterproductive from their standpoint. I seem to recall them doing that more frequently in the past; it only encourages those on the fence to think a bit more about what the antis are really saying, and that’s not something they want.

  2. “…when an intended victim is able to win in a deadly confrontation, they quickly stick their heads in the sand and pretend nothing happened.”

Oh it’s much worse than that. When a perpetrator is overwhelmed by his intended victim the antis feel a stinging sense of personal defeat and insult. Seeing one of their own, and thus the whole alliance, being disrespected, deeply insulted and shamed (“punked”) throws the alliance into a rage, with an insatiable hunger for revenge against the law-abiding.

You have to understand the mindset and what drives it on and on and on into irrationality and desolation. In their minds, they are the authority, and you are upstart, the rebel, the infidel and heretic, and it is their responsibility and purpose to put you in your place.

In thinking, living, speaking, working and acting on your own, according to your own conscience, you are thereby insulting them personally and deeply, by bucking their authority.

    It’s all about the authority.

Any mere comment which makes light of the authority that they claim for themselves, which is a grave and serious authority, is, in their minds, a capitol offense.

You could be a hundred miles away from the nearest progressive authoritarian, having no dealings with them whatsoever, but if they get wind of you their first impulse will be to come after you and put you “in your place, you deplorable fuck!”

It is only through a calculated, tactical restraint then, that they aren’t openly, overtly murdering people all the time, but they do get to that point from time to time, here and there around the world. Otherwise their murder must be done more subtly, by selective disarmament, by fomenting wars, rioting, distributing dangerous drugs on a global scale, glorifying the use of violence while claiming to oppose, it, etc., etc.

This is the mind of the anti-Christ which ruled much of the world for some 1,260 years, from about 538 to 1798 AD, and which defined the Dark Ages as dark. It is a murderous, proud, envious, jealous, licentious, supremely arrogant, and at the same time very intelligent power. Starting up again in earnest in the 20th Century, it’s rearing it’s ugly head now, plotting, planning, calculating, manipulating, looking to rule every corner of the world, and this time the United States is helping it along and partnering with it.

Yup; we’ve gone from being a Protestant haven in the Americas, and much of Europe, to eventually joining in and partnering with the antiChrist by the early 20th Century. So what do you expect? There’s no good that can come from it.
