News accounts of 23 shootings in which more than six people were killed or wounded and LCMs were known to have been used, occurring in the United States in 1994–2013, were examined. There was only one incident in which the shooter may have been stopped by bystander intervention when he tried to reload. In all of these 23 incidents, the shooter possessed either multiple guns or multiple magazines, meaning that the shooter, even if denied LCMs, could have continued firing without significant interruption by either switching loaded guns or changing smaller loaded magazines with only a 2- to 4-seconds delay for each magazine change. Finally, the data indicate that mass shooters maintain such slow rates of fire that the time needed to reload would not increase the time between shots and thus the time available for prospective victims to escape.

Since the anti-gunners I talk to (as infrequently as I can) would not respond to such logic, if they espouse the desrie to ban my standard caps, my response would be, “Fvck you. Come and take them.”
When the 2019 mag ban in Washington State falters in the legislature, Hanauer, Gates & Co. will make sure it gets on the ballot through the initiative process. And we’ll lose again, because all the groups we pro RKBA send money to will sit on their hands, again.
I’d like to see if we could get a Constitutional Carry initiative going next year. Would never pass, but at least it might distract the big money boys and the hand wringing liberals enough to stop them from pushing their agenda so hard.

The gun grabbing left is NOT going to go away, they are NOT going to quit trying to disarm us and they are NOT going to change their minds based on any evidence, logic, facts or rational. They WILL however gladly kill anyone who opposes them if necessary. There is a war ACTIVELY going on RIGHT NOW in America. And that war has already gone hot…..we are seeing more and more stories about the cops who are OWNED AND PAID by the commie libs in power killing unarmed people and shooting the “good guy” at crime scenes….and doing so with impunity. This problem isn’t going to go away.
It’s only going to get worse.
I once had a conversation with a former colleague who argued that it was nonsensical to have LCMs as well as firearms, such as AR-15’s that “can shoot hundreds of rounds a minute” in civilian hands. My question to him, for which he had no answer was:
“It’s 2:00 AM. Three masked men have just kicked in the front door of your home. Their intent is to murder you immediately, then gang rape and murder your wife and daughters. How often do you want to reload, and how slowly do you want your weapon to fire?”

Virtually ALL of them will reply ” That doesn’t happen here,
MY HOUSE will never get invaded”. The typical leftist
has NEVER seen real violence up close and personal.
It ALWAYS is something that happens somewhere else to
someone else and they hear about it on the news etc.
They refuse to believe it could happen to them therefore
they don’t need a gun…..and by extension they refuse to
believe anyone else they meet will be a victim and therefore
don’t need a gun either. Throw in the not insignificant numbers
of these morons who truly believe that it is better to DIE at the
hands of a criminal than to defend themselves with lethal force
and you have a perfect storm of insanity opposing rational
ideas.
