Quote of the day—Dana Loesch‏ @DLoesch

A lot of very sensitive, triggered people out there today. A reminder: never bend a knee to the outrage mob.

Have you ever noticed that crazy people will act only as crazy as you let them be?

Tell the children they aren’t going to benefit from throwing a tantrum.—Joe]

  1. A similar thought I read recently … Society will have the level of lawlessness it is prepared to tolerate.

  2. “Tell the children they aren’t going to benefit from throwing a tantrum.”

You can tell them all you like, but they already know otherwise. Dysfunction, irreparable victimhood and rage are their stock and trade, their meal tickets. They’ve been inculcated into this trade since childhood by media, entertainment and public education. They’re professionals. You aren’t going to show them or tell them anything, you intolerant-racist-sexist-greedy-colonialist-white pig, which doesn’t further reinforce their hatred of you.

      • Which is precisely the problem: Too many people are not just willing, but anxious to be “flexible” with limits, resulting in no limits at all, and enforcement of limits – at any level, by anyone – gets widely condemned.

We can certainly change that, but the process will be difficult and for the advocates of limitlessness quite definitely not painless.
