Quote of the day—Alan Korwin

When it comes to gun policy, the political left is harming America, delaying rational programs, and flatly denying the public’s rights. Denying civil rights always has bad consequences, as we saw here.

Liberals Must Step Back for School Safety
[School shootings are one of the most effective tools in the political left’s toolkit for denying people their right to keep and bear arms. They will not let us put a stop to them no matter how many children’s lives it costs.—Joe]

  1. When it comes to any policy, the political left (Democrats and Republicans) is harming America. Anyway, who says that “gun policy” is even a legitimate term? It isn’t. If the state can have a “policy” on it, then it isn’t a right.

Also, child sacrifice, which is what you’re describing, is a feature of Baal worship. Don’t expect to get anywhere with that line of argument with the leftists, at least not with the leadership. It’d be like trying to talk the papacy into abandoning their practices of communion worldwide, in which the priest, having magic powers granted to him by the pope, can turn bread into the literal corpse-flesh of a dead Jesus (Corpus Christi). Such ritual human sacrifice is disgusting, yes, but it’s a cornerstone of the Baal faith, and a source of the leftists’ power, they believe. You won’t talk them out of it by simply describing it.

    • If the Federal policy were to prosecute state and local officials who infringe upon the rights of those attempting exercise their right to keep and bear arms then it would seem to me that would be a legitimate “gun policy”.

      • : ) That’d just be law enforcement. Not so much “gun policy” per se, I would hope, as “upholding, defending and protecting the constitution” as general principle and in all cases, with a special emphasis on matters of individual rights.

        • …which of course is exactly what the oath, required of all office holders, requires them to do.
