The world according to the left

I find it very telling the left resorts to lies of such a grand scale in hopes of achieving their agenda. The truth is not only insufficient. It is counterproductive to their goals.

From US Office of Strategic Services in describing Hitler’s psychological profile:

His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.

Hitler would be proud of the lessons our political left have learned from him.

    • Of course. Confuse them about where the risk is, and the chains will fall on them without them knowing. They look to the right when the evil is on the left.

  1. “…never accept blame…”

That profile description fits the former POTUS perfectly.

  2. I had a sad conversation with an in-law yesterday.
She said Trump called all immigrants animals.
I told her no, he called MS-13 members animals.
She said she didn’t care, because Trump got away with too much all ready.
How do you have a rational conversation with someone who doesn’t care about truth?

  3. “How do you have a rational conversation with someone who doesn’t care about truth?”

When you figure this out, let the rest of us know!

The problem is that these people base all their thinking on emotions. Facts have little connection to their reality. They tend to sound rational at first, but when you start questioning them, they instantly get mad. There is no thinking once that point is reached.

  4. “The truth is not only insufficient. It is counterproductive to their goals.”

Exactly. Hence truth is in fact terrorism. Sit down and shut up, or face the consequences.

It’s pretty simple; if one wants to violate the rights of others on a wholesale level, in broad daylight, on an on-going basis, then truth is the worst enemy he’s got.

Although, a picture of Donald Trump wouldn’t be my first choice to represent truth. I believe there’s some Straw Man building happening there.

The Jesuit Theater that is politics is a dog and pony show, a distraction, same as professional sports– We are meant to cleave to one team, and love and root for it while despising the other team, yet both teams work for the same league which tightly screens it’s team owners, and the individual players are often moved about from team to team. It is no coincidence that so many political commentators are also deeply interested in league sports, and vice versa.

  5. That’s PEACEFUL protesters.
Remember, violence from the Left is speech, and speech from Conservatives is violence.

    • “violence”, or “hate speech” — a European coinage which means “speech of which the government and its favored fellow-travelers disapprove”.
