Quote of the day—Eileen McCarron

But too many guns in society is a root problem that spreads in many directions, including causing the deaths of law enforcement officers. The gun is such a lethal object, and it gives so much power to people doing wrong to use against someone trying to stop them.

How to end line of duty deaths in Colorado?
[Don’t ever let anyone get away with telling you that no one wants to take your guns.

McCarron fails to mention that a gun gives power to innocent victims defending themselves. One must conclude that McCarron does not want people have such power to defend themselves. This being a specific enumerated right it then, obviously, follows that McCarron is conspiring to deny people this right and 18 USC 241 applies. I look forward to her trial.—Joe]

  1. It’s it interesting that leftists speak in favor of police only when it is as an excuse to push victim disarmament?

  2. Here, fixed it for you.

But too many politicians in society is a root problem that spreads in many directions, including causing the deaths of law enforcement officers. The politician is such a lethal object, and it gives so much power to people doing wrong to use against someone trying to stop them.

  3. I think it would probably be legal for a citizen to say, “I think guns should be banned.” Once you try to get government officials to move in that direction, it becomes a conspiracy to violate the law and should be prosecuted. Not a slap on the wrist, either; hard time in a hard prison. And don’t stop with one, either; keep going until every gun control freak is in a cell with a 250-pound murderer.

    • Read the law and understand what a conspiracy is. One person saying “Guns should be banned.” is free speech. Working with one or more people to make that a reality probably is a violation of Federal law (18 USC 241). A single “person in authority” (politician, government employee, etc.) who attempts to deprive someone of their rights violates 18 USC 242.
