Quote of the day—NRA-ILA

It would be nice to think that with a pro-gun president and pro-gun majorities in Congress, statehouses, and governor’s mansions across the country, the battle to secure the Second Amendment is won. But as long as decent, law-abiding gun owners are blamed for the acts of deranged murderers, the battle can never end.

For us to think otherwise is to sow the seeds of our own undoing.

  1. Of course there’s “pro-gun” in word, and then there’s the altogether different concept of being pro-gun in deed.

“Reasoned” discussion of “gun policy” is mentioned, but of course there is so such thing as a “reasonable” wholesale violation of a human right. The way to handle that subject is to explain, in perfect clarity, why that conversation will not be allowed. The leftists have too many of us believing that we are “unreasonable” unless we’re “open-minded” enough to entertain Bill of Rights violations.
