Quote of the day—JDPlenty

I am 100% in favor of total repeal of the 2nd. NO RIGHT TO ANY FIREARMS WHATSOEVER. PERIOD. At the very least, it would get rid of annoying squeaks like that.

Comment to Why Congress still won’t ‘do something’ about gun laws after Las Vegas.
[Considering there are tens of millions of gun owners, with 100’s of millions of guns and billions of rounds of ammunition. Many of which will be inclined turn in their bullets, minus shell casing, primer, and powder, prior to surrendering their guns I would expect few will describe the response as “annoying squeaks”. But as we have long known anti-gun people are mostly disconnected from reality. JDPlenty is, of course, projecting.

And, of course, don’t ever let anyone get away with telling you that no one wants to take your guns.—Joe]

  1. While we’re at it, let’s outlaw crack cocaine and crystal meth. Let’s repeal the right to be a cocaine or meth dealer. That way, NO criminal, NO gangster, NO international drug empire would be able to get their hands on that stuff. It works for drugs, right? Surely it will work just as well for guns.

The point is; anyone who believes that banning something takes it out of the hands of criminals, is, quite simply, insane. It does the opposite. It gives criminals a monopoly on that product.

Nearly every member of Congress then, is insane. Truly gone over the edge.

Go ahead then. Give criminals a monopoly on the use of bump stocks. See how much safer that makes you fucking morons.

  2. I suspect that the “squeaks” that *truly* annoy JDPlenty are gun owners ourselves, and that JDPlenty would like to see us all eliminated.

  3. I suspect that he would still be in favor of the government being armed though.

How did that work out in the USSR, communist China, Cambodia, and many other hellholes? How about Venezuela for a current example?

He would first be viewed by his brave new world government as a useful idiot, then as an annoying squeak, before being marched into an open mass grave.

    • That’s because he suffers from the Trotsky Delusion — the mistaken belief that he’ll be part of Those In Charge, rather than a late useful idiot.
