Quote of the day—David Hardy

[A]bout the nominee for the Secretary of the Army, Mark Green. All I need to know is that he believes an armed citizenry is a check and balance on the government, and that therefore citizens should be allowed to own anything the military has, including ships of war.

  1. Those who best understand that an armed citizenry is a check on government power are the same ones vehemently oppose an armed citizenry.

They’re the ones who want unchecked government power. They, and only they, can fully appreciate the meaning of the second amendment, and that is why they hate it so.
