The availability of specific classes of firearms where the evidence clearly demonstrates that such weapons present an unreasonable risk of death and injury should be severely restricted.
Weapons regulated under the National Firearms Act–including silencers, “destructive devices” such as missiles used in grenade and rocket launchers and land mines–should be banned from future sale.
Weapons that fall within the definition of assault weapons should be banned in the same manner as were machine guns in 1986, and no new versions of assault weapons should be made.
Handguns should be banned from future sale except for military and law- enforcement personnel.

There is a possible objection to everything, when your goal is to object to everything. The only sensible response to such proposals is not discussion, it is defiance.
I like how they use the rarest and scariest of examples for their definition of “destructive devices.” They don’t mention the USAS12 “Streetsweeper,” a relatively low-quality, bulky, and awkward shotgun, or other impractical and more common items.
So, if I bean Shannon Watts with a lump of pink halite, will they advocate banning “A Salt Rocks”?
No; wide scale possession of A Salt Rocks would pose no real threat to their Progressive authoritarian objectives.
But it will raise their blood pressure.
The very notion of having a “violence policy”, beyond simple law enforcement for the purpose of upholding basic human rights, is authoritarian in nature. Now I don’t suppose there’s a rank-and-file Progressive alive who could understand the difference, or who would even suspect that there’s a difference to be understood.
Their leaders understand, which means they have no excuse, come the time of their trials.
Don’t forget they also endorsed the banning of traditional hunting rifles along w/ all associated gear (bipods, scopes, ammo, etc) as ‘sniper rifles’ as well as any ammo that could ‘penetrate bullet resistant vests’
