  1. I can’t help but wonder if ‘The Slow-Mo Guys’ from YouTube wouldn’t like to take a stab at filming the opening fireball (or any fireball for that matter). Might work for spreading the word about Boomershoot to a wider audience.

  3. That’s almost zero wind. Cool.

That lingering cloud reminds me of black powder shooting, where the smoke can often become an issue.

    • Yup. That continued all day and contributed to only having 11 targets left at the end. They consumed 730 targets leaving the smallest quantity ever for cleanup.

  4. Were there Easter eggs hidden along the creek bed? I ask because when I was watching my footage, I thought somehow someone had hit about 200 yds short and splashed up some water. It made no sense. I marked the time and went back later and sure enough, it looks like an itty-bitty boomer. I didn’t want to post it to YouTube without knowing if that’s what it was.

    • No. I don’t know where they were hidden (I’ll have to ask someone else) but there should not be any targets in (or shooting into) the water.

      • I put together a quicky edit of what I’m talking about and posted it:

At first I thought someone jerked a shot and just happened to hit a puddle, but I don’t think so after repeated views.

        • I suspect that was just a water splash. Not good. The bullet probably ricocheted. Maybe it hit the opposite bank but it’s not something I would want to count on.
