Quote of the day—Robert J. Avrech

This should put to rest, once and for all, the notion that support of Israel is a bipartisan issue. This talking point is fiction. The Democrats are the party of nuclear Iran, the supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood, the enemies of of Israel. The Republicans are the party that supports Israel in spite of the shameful fact that 80% of American Jews reliably vote for the Democrats.

  1. The fact that Jewish culture in America (and American culture to only a slightly lesser sense) makes such a great effort to remember the horrors of the Holocaust, meanwhile Jews as a block are zealous supporters in bringing National Socialism, civilian disarment (note that many of the equally stupid knife and impact weapon laws are championed by leftist Jews…and if guns are ever banned, you know they’ll not wait a moment to start banning pocket knives, and batons, and anything else that could be used as a force multiplier), and seeing a mushroom cloud rise over the holy cities of the Jewish homeland.

I simply can’t understand it. You would think a culture that has such an oppressed past that so often says “never again” would have the forethought to back that up, and take steps so backing it up would never be nessisary.

The Mormons have an oppressed past, but given the age of the sect, not as long as the Jews, but they are prepared almost to an individual to never ever let the past repeat itself.

    • Some groups seem to thrive on victim hood. Jehovah’s Witnesses, for example, love to play up their travails, seemingly to attract new members.

  2. To paraphrase…
Those who curse Israel, God will curse. Those who bless Israel will be blessed.

Delighted that we will soon have a real president who will get the Churchill bust back and defend our only real ally in the Middle East.
