  1. Wow! That was awesome.

I loved the part about telling people that you disagree with they are stupid, deplorable, racist, or sexist “doesn’t work anymore”. Listen to them and engage them in debate. Otherwise, you get Trump for president.

    • The problem is, the people who are screaming sexist/racist/misogyny/blah/blah/blah tend to be the same people who favor gun control. I think it’s for the same reason:

They don’t come out on top in a literal or metaphorical two-way firing range. The only way they win is if they’re the only ones with the guns or megaphones.

If they get into a debate, they might not be the one with enough facts on their side, or the better arguments. They might be forced to concede point after point until there nothing left of their argument and then they’ll be faced with the ultimate humiliation: having to change their minds. Fortunately for most of them, you can’t be reasoned out of a position that you didn’t reason yourself into in the first place. They’ll hunker down in Fort Offended behind the Reality Denial Force Fields.

I got an email from a relative Tuesday night, bemoaning the outcomes, saying America is better than this. I wrote back with four words for both Trump and Hillary supporters: “This, too, shall pass.” And if you’re dead certain to the core of your being that it will not pass, good news, gun prices aren’t going to spike tomorrow, so stock up and get ready for the civil war that the democratic process is supposed to be a replacement for. Also, there isn’t going to be a civil war.

I got back a long email about how rude I was and I was talking down to her and three pages of this that I only read all of because she’s a relative. You know what wasn’t in those three pages? Any suggestion that I was wrong.

She’s in education. Education, academia, the ‘news’ media, entertainment industry, government civil service, all went 98% for Hillary according to campaign contributions. You know what else is common about all of them, these days: they’re all one-way information streams, or conceive of their roles as such. The audience isn’t supposed to talk back, or they could and used to but they’re not supposed to know they can.

      • I think my response to such a reply would be something along the lines of, “If you can’t be civil then you are going to have a lot more “President Trumps’ in your future.”

        • Joe, to that I personally, from a viewpoint that these idiots can bugger themselves, really am not in any mood to repeat to them your quote in an attempt to school them.

Let them continue in their ways and thus let there be more “Trumps” to psychologically crush them into continued hysterics. We just might get lucky enough that they curl up into mewling balls and finally fade into insignificance.

          • The way all the mad Leftists are reacting, demonstrating, blocking freeways chanting “clever” rhyming insults, the one thought that sums up all that $*** is “Conduct unbecoming an American.”
It’s not as if this is Denmark or Norway in April 1940, or Austria in March 1938.
Their views are so psychotically at odds with objective reality, I think they need to be asked for the record, “what color is the sky for you.”

  2. LOL…LOL.

That was not only good, but true, AND funny. There’s a left wing shithead I could talk to..

  3. crude but passionate and accurate

The polls were wrong, except IBD again, because people would only respond PC, not truthfully.
The reason we have an electoral college was spelled out very clearly by the authors:
The left controls the northeast ( mostly), and the left coast. (OK ; and Chicago).
That is Cities that cannot survive without the farmers, ranchers, manufacturers and transporters that live in the other 85% of the US.
The ‘educated’ elites who can do nothing but manipulate lost this one.
The EC is to ensure that the smaller population states are not overruled and overburdened by the populous states.
The United States of America was not conceived as, nor constructed as a democracy.
The United States of America is a representative confederation.
Remember the Tenth Amendment. That is what has been violated by activist judges and burgeoning, bloated, burdening federal bureaucracy.
Our founders knew that democracy is the tyranny of the masses. Fairness, general welfare, and success are based on rational processes.
    Not mobocracy.
    Bob

    • It remains to be seen who won and who lost, or if this little election makes any difference or has any long term relevance. It certainly “could”, yes, and we can hope that it will, but that isn’t the same thing as “it did”. Only time will tell.

  4. Funny. Even the fat boy gets it.

[Michael] Moore took it from there. “You have to accept that millions of people who voted for Barack Obama, some of them once, some of them twice, changed their minds this time. They’re not racist. They twice voted for a man whose middle name is Hussein. That’s the America you live in.”

  5. “Point your leftie friends to it.”

    No.

The last thing I want to do is tell the leftards what they’re doing to drive people away!

  7. I’ll give the gentleman(?) the point that the left does not talk to those on the opposite side, they rather rant and rave. Their positions are generally started on a false premise and go down hill after that.

I did notice the wide spread corruption of HRC and associates did not seem to bother the angry young man.

Personally I don’t give a damn who’s running the UK or if they stay or go from the EU. Why do they care about so much about our results unless they still cling to the idea of the one world government?

    • The world cares about the US because we are the 900-lb gorilla economically and militarily. We also are “culture” “leaders” via Hollywood. Accordingly, they worry we might look at them with interest, and worry what we might bomb, mine, buy, sell, or invade next.

    • Who is the speaker on that video, by the way? And where does he work? He sounds like a Brit, obviously, but I don’t know him or his place of business.
He mentioned that the left tries to muzzle people rather than debate them. True. He neglected to mention that this is the law of the land in many countries, in particular much of Europe. Consider for example Holland, where politician Geert Wilders is on trial for expressing non-PC opinions.
On the theory that Sanders would have won, I think that’s a delusion. I believe it would have lost by a much larger margin. While he’s not a career felon like Hilary, he’s a communist, and the same voters who switched to Trump would have rejected Sanders for that reason.
As for “why does Europe care about the election?”, that’s easy. Because they are worried about their freebies. Trump scared many of them when he pointed out that Europe is freeloading on our taxes. Take NATO. We are obliged to defend much of Europe, including countries that care so little about their freedom that they don’t bother to have any defenses AT ALL. Personally, I would like to see NATO abolished. But at the very least, it makes sense to tell the likes of Iceland that we’ll consider defending them just as soon as they create an army and navy of their own. A newspaper article in the past day or so mentioned that out of all of NATO, only four countries other than the USA live up to their commitment of spending at least 2% of GDP on defense.
