No government, no thieves.

[This is probably a bit of an exaggeration but I’m certainly willing to test the concept to find out if a similar conclusion is warranted in our country.

How about we start the experiment on the first of next year?—Joe]

Those who need to know already know what the following means. If it’s not crystal clear to you then don’t worry about it. It’s not for you. It’s more fun and games for the NSA:

  1. I think the other thing that’s needed is that the prohibition on deadly force to protect property needs to be reversed.

    • That’s a state law issue. Just look at Texas’ law concerning that.

What really needs to happen on the federal side is deleting the bureaucracy’s regulatory powers.

  2. You already know what the American founders said about the kind of people for which our republic is designed, and that any other kind of people would be unable to keep it.

The point is that liberty lives only in the hearts of human beings. If it dies there, no document or set of laws can revive it.

Since the founding of The United States is unique in all of recorded history, we’d best keep in mind how it was done, and within what frame of mind.

It’s the only known, winning formula, and as a society we abandoned it long ago. In fact it was never wholly embraced, unfortunately, and all of our serious problems as a country have come as a result of that failure to cleave to the founding principles.
